The Diamonds

Episode Ten

Her first day at school was going pretty great.

Classes were over for the first half of the day and it was time for recess.

Eva knew nobody around so she decided to stay put in her classroom.

Some female students suddenly rushed to her table as she gasped.

"Hey!"

"Eva!"

"How do you know the Diamonds?"

"Yeah! You arrived with them."

They kept throwing questions endlessly, almost confusing Eva.

She couldn't talk….

And just then,the girls gasped and suddenly began to part ways, soon revealing the Diamonds.

Well, except Miguel as expected.

"What are they doing here?" They whispered among themselves.

"For the new girl of course." Some scoffed

Eva exhaled happily.

Help, finally.

"Eva…" Andrew called as they got to her seat.

"Thank goodness you guys came." Eva muttered through clenched teeth.

She'd have literally died if they didn't show up at the right time.

"Well…it's recess. We came to take you along with us to the cafeteria." Daniel shrugged.

"Yeah." Andrew nodded, picking up Eva's already arranged bag and he swung it on his shoulder.

"Come on.." He urged extending a hand to Eva who took it getting up on her feet and they soon made an exit.

As they exited the classroom,many students sighed dreamily.

Being so close to the Diamonds was a great thing but some wished Miguel had showed up with them so they could at least see his dashing stoned face.

Eva looked around as they headed to the supposed cafeteria.

The guys kept showing her numerous buildings.

The library…. laboratories…. theater…music hall …gym…game hall…. and so many more.

They began approaching a building partially made of glass.

"This…is the snack building." Andrew said to Eva as they walked in.

Immediately,the sweet enticing scent of pastries mixed in the chill conditioned air hit Eva so hard that she closed her eyes for a moment to savor the feeling.

"Wow!.." she exclaimed, opening her eyes.

There were tables for four neatly arranged all over the place.

They finally occupied a table.

"Do all the students come to eat here?" Eva asked.

"Yeah… but you only get the pastries here with a special card. It shows that you have paid for an entire term here to get access to them or…you purchase it." Jerad notified.

"Wow…" Eva muttered.

"Um…do I get the card?" She suddenly asked and bit her lower lip and they chuckled.

"Of course Eva… but you really don't need the card. You can take anything you want. All you have to do is ask." Andrew grinned.

"Wow…" She muttered again.

Jerad got up to make an order and soon returned with it.

They gave Eva a muffin and exited the building.

The hot air that hit Eva when she got outside made her frown.

"So,was that the cafeteria?" Eva asked as they walked on.

"No…that one is." Daniel replied and Eva looked ahead to see an amazing gigantic building totally made up of glass.

She could clearly see students at the lower floor eating already but somehow…the upper floor couldn't be seen.

They got into the building and Eva felt like never stepping out.

The floor tiles were HD.

All white and the tables and couch like chairs around were either Red or Purple making it appear like royalty.

Eva screamed out of excitement in her head.

"Do you guys eat here?" She asked awed.

"Nope…we have a private floor…up." Andrew replied as they walked towards a stairs at a corner and began to climb up it till they got to a door and Andrew took out a card and swipe immediately gaining access as they all walked in.

"Goodness!...I so wanna scream!" Eva exclaimed and they chuckled.

The place was so exquisite.

There was a table for four having red sofa chairs around it.

Then another table like that but of purple color.

There was another plain lower table and seats of four at another end then the serving corner.

Jerad moved to the beverage machine and ordered out a soda then began to consume it.

"The red dining table is for the Crystals and the other for us…the Diamonds."

" That's us.” Andrew notified with a proud grin and Eva nodded,dazed.

No one apart from them was around at the moment.

Since Eva wouldn't be able to get a seat at the table, Andrew sat with her at the lower table while Jerad and Daniel occupied their seats.

Andrew had gotten himself and Eva some Chinese food.

"I do hear about Chinese food but this would be my very first." Eva said.

"You'll love it." Andrew assured.

As Eva was about digging in,the door opened and Miguel walked in together with the Crystals.

Cassandra immediately stopped dead in her tracks as her gaze landed on Eva.

"Seriously!?" She scoffed, heading to where they sat.

"Now she gets to come in here?" Cassandra asked and Andrew sighed.

"Keep it down ok?" He groaned and she scoffed facing Miguel who was serving himself some food.

"Miguel, aren't you going to say anything about this?" Cassandra asked and Miguel grabbed a can of water from the beverage machine then headed to the table for the Diamonds.

He totally ignored her.

Eva stifled a chuckle and Cassandra shot her a de@th glare.

"Get yourself something to chill with. We were having a nice peaceful lunch before you came in." Daniel scoffed and Cassandra clenched her fists before storming off to the beverage machine.

Ruby rolled her eyes at Eva and headed to go serve herself and the other two followed.

"Relax Eva." Andrew whispered to her when he noticed how sour her mood had gone and she nodded slowly.

After lunch,they led her back to her class.

"Thanks guys." She smiled at them.

“I had so much fun."

"Take care Eva. See you later." Andrew said and she nodded before walking into the class.

Once seated,she glanced at the girl by her side who was reading a book.

She could clearly recall that her name was Mary.

But she was just too quiet and it sorta creeped Eva out.

She shrugged and decided to mind her business.

Eva groaned as she walked into the mansion with the guys.

"Gosh! I am so tired." She groaned, flopping on a couch and Andrew only smiled.

"Use one word to describe your first day Eva." Jerad asked

"Crazy!" She exclaimed and sat up grinning.

"My classmates love me!" She suddenly shrieked and they laughed.

Miguel walked in and headed straight for the stairs as Eva watched him.

Andrew noticed how she kept her gaze on him and smiled.

"It is a great sign that you will become popular eventually." Daniel grinned and Eva looked away from Miguel smiling at Daniel's comment.

"I guess. But,that Cassandra." Eva paused.

“She's weird." Eva muttered.

"Ignore her." Andrew cut in and she nodded.

"I'll be heading to my room." She notified, getting off the couch.

Once in the comfort of her room,Eva exhaled happily as she stood before the mirror staring at her reflection.

"Today was definitely cool." She muttered and sighed then began taking off her neck tie.

**LATER**

A knock on Eva's room door made her leave her books on the bed as she headed to answer it.

"Hey!" Andrew grinned at her.

"Hi.." she smiled.

"Dinner is ready." He notified and she furrowed her brows.

"Come eat with us." He offered.

"Oh…I can't." Eva turned down and he arched a brow.

"Why?" He asked and she bit her lower lip.

"Nothing Andrew."

"You are either coming with me peacefully or I am going to have to force you." He conditioned and she gasped.

"You wouldn't do that."

"Try me.." He grinned.

"I really don't want to." Eva whined.

"Then you leave me with no choice." Andrew shrugged and advanced Eva quickly lifting her up in his arms as she gasped.

"What!?"

"Put me down!" Eva exclaimed.

Andrew chuckled heading towards the stairs with Eva across his shoulder.

"You dared me."

"No…I didn't. Please put me down." Eva groaned as he alighted the stairs and headed to the dining area.

"Andrew…" She squealed embarrassed and the guys looked up to see them.

Jerad drew out a seat between him and Miguel at the head of the table and Andrew set her down on the seat.

"I hate you!" She scoffed and he smirked at her.

"I love you too." He laughed and headed to his seat.

Miguel scoffed at the drama then carried on with eating.

Eva gulped when she realized that she was seated…right next to Miguel at the table!

Her blood ran cold and she gulped down nothing.

No!

"You will be sitting there from now on Eva. You can't continue eating alone in your room." Daniel said and Eva's eyes grew wide.

Uh oh….

A maid began serving Eva and she nervously began to eat.

"So,...the attention towards us…. especially you was pretty massive today." Daniel spoke up and Eva bit her lower lip.

"Yes. That made me have thoughts of getting Eva a personal car she would be taking to school. " Andrew chipped in and Eva looked up from her plate stunned.

"What!?" She gasped.

"That's a great idea Andy!" Jerad supported.

"Do you know how to drive a car?" Daniel asked.

"Um…." Eva tried to talk but the words got stuck in her throat and she gulped heavily.

"That won't be necessary though. I will be hiring a driver and an escort for her." Andrew said and Eva blinked twice.

What the helly!?

Eva couldn't hide the surprised look on her face.

It was all too much.

"That…. wouldn't be necessary.." She stuttered.

"Relax Eva." Andrew winked at her then glanced at Miguel who ate as if a topic wasn't going on at the table.

Eva sighed and carried on with eating.

"You have done so much for me Andrew. Getting me a private car,driver and escort is wayyyy too much." Eva sighed as they strolled around the premises.

"You better get used to all these Eva. You deserve it." Andrew said, pulling her close to his side as they walked on.

Eva sighed, staring at the sky.

"Do you have any idea as to why Cassandra dislikes me so much?" Eva suddenly asked.

" Still worried about that I see.” Andrew muttered then sighed.

"I really dunno. I mean, it's none of her business if you live with us or something but she keeps acting as if she's the boss or something." Andrew sneered with an eye roll.

Wow!

Eva chuckled quietly.

"Did you make any friends today?" Andrew asked.

"Nope. I wish I did tho." Eva shrugged.

#Morning…..

Eva had already gotten ready for school.

She smiled at her reflection then headed out of the room.

Finally arriving at the dining area, she quietly sat down to eat.

Miguel was at the table and his presence always made her feel nervous and super inferior.

As he ate,Eva couldn't help but steal glances at him.

He had such great and almost perfect table manners.

Daniel's phone rang out and he quickly took the call.

"Oh wow!...."

Pause..

“That's great…we will check it out." He said and dropped the call.

"Who was that?" Jerad asked.

"Well…all I can say is…Eva's car, driver and escort has finally arrived." Daniel announced and Eva choked on her bread then reached for a glass of water gulping down its content.

"What?" She whisper-yelled and they grinned at her.

"Wanna check it out?" Andrew asked as Eva stared at him surprised.

This was real!

"Ahhh!" Eva shrieked the moment she laid her eyes on the white jeep having tinted glasses.

Two men in black stood by the jeep wearing shades.

"Gosh! Is this really for me!?" Eva exclaimed and they grinned nodding.

She could barely contain her joy as she checked out the jeep.

It was just so cool!

They had really gotten her a personal vehicle!

"Thank you guys so much!" Eva exclaimed, hugging them all.

"Easy girl. You should get going to school. We are already running late." Andrew chuckled.

"Yeah.." She muttered and went in to get her bag pack.

Location: DIAMOND HIGH

As expected,the students took pictures of the guys as they alighted their vehicles.

Just then,a white jeep drove in.

It appeared new and flashy, catching the attention of the students.

An escort alighted the jeep and opened the door.

Then the new girl from yesterday suddenly came right out of the jeep.

‘..Whoa! The hell!?..’

‘...I love that jeep!!!..’

‘...Eva!!!..’

The attention was so much and the guys went inside the first building with Eva.

"At least we didn't arrive together. They wouldn't easily know we live together." Daniel shrugged as they got into an elevator.

"How do you feel Eva?" Jerad asked as Andrew watched her closely and she shrugged.

"Less nervous than yesterday. It was really crazy." She chuckled.

The elevator dinged and opened as they stepped out.

"Good luck Eva!" Jerad said walking away with Daniel leaving Eva and Andrew.

"Thanks once again Andrew…. you…"

"Shh…don't mention it Eva. Go on ahead. You have classes waiting." Andrew winked and walked away.

Eva exhaled deeply and began to locate the class she had stayed the previous day.

It wasn't hard to locate as she expected and soon,she was in.

Students waved at her as she headed to her desk then occupied it.

Mary was seated next to her.

Quiet as usual and was reading a book so early that morning.

"Hello…" Eva quietly waved at her.

She raised her head sparing Eva a glance then gave a tight nod and faced the textbook back.

Weird….

Eva sighed and took out a note pad.

She was bored and decided to make some free hand sketches.

***LUNCH TIME***

The guys were delaying coming to get her and it made her really worried.

She was already hungry from the long classes and their delay wasn't helping.

Eva was still new around and didn't want to get lost in the large premises but hunger pangs got the best of her.

Eva got off her seat with her bag pack and exited the classroom.

She knew she could do it.

Finding the cafeteria should be easy right?

**MINUTES LATER**

Eva groaned, leaning on one of the trees around the premises.

She was officially lost!

Am definitely couldn't ask for help….

She didn't want to.

Her stomach growled and she groaned again clutching to it as she shut her eyes.

"You're ok?" She suddenly heard a voice and opened her eyes standing straight to see her.

Mary?

"Erm…yeah." Eva stuttered and the girl only stared at her.

"I'll show you to the cafeteria." Mary suddenly offered and the huge sigh of relief from Eva was too obvious.

"I would appreciate that."

They soon got moving but the walk was short and quiet.

Once inside the cozy building,they headed to the ordering counter and Eva watched Mary make an order after showing a card.

Mary soon got her order and faced Eva.

"Aren't you ordering?" She asked.

"I…"

"Are you Miss Eva Bieber?" A waitress asked and Eva nodded then the lady smiled.

"Welcome to Diamond High my dear. You are a VIP. Please make an order." The lady said and Eva glanced at Mary who walked away.

"Thank you." Eva appreciated taking her tray and turned to search for Mary who she soon sighted sitting alone.

She began heading for her table when other students began asking her to join them but Eva only smiled at them till she got to Mary's table.

"Um...can I?" Eva asked as Mary looked up at her then shrugged lightly.

"Thank you." Eva grinned and sat down.

It didn't take so much time before she dug into her lunch.

She was so hungry.

The Diamonds had gone off to somewhere except Miguel.

The cafeteria door opened and he walked in.

The students began to squeal instantly taking out their phones.

Eva noticed the change in the cool atmosphere and turned to see Miguel.

At that moment…their gazes ran into each other and Eva felt partially paralyzed.

Out of all the students around…he had to spot her so easily.

Gosh!

She hated the attention.

Mary noticed what was going on between the two and cracked a light smile.

Miguel finally looked away heading to the stairs.

Students had their eyes on him till he was no longer seen then faced Eva who had shared a gaze with him.

She could clearly hear them talking about her.

"Miguel sure doesn't look at girls Eva." Mary suddenly said and Eva faced her in surprise.

Wait….what!?

“What did you say?" Eva asked like she didn't hear clearly and Mary only shrugged.
