It was a mystery to Adriana as to why Carson could see her magic when the rest of the pack couldn’t, but I didn’t dwell on it long. Adriana had reached her limit. Elijah and Lucas were more than capable of filling him in, so I promptly kicked them out, sending a quick mindlink to the doctor to let her know I wanted Adriana to stay and rest for a few hours. She responded by telling us to take all the time we needed.
