ADRIANA’S POV I don’t know why I let things get as far as I did with Aiden, but when his lips were inches from mine, I couldn’t think. So I acted. The doctor came in one last time to check me over, at Aiden’s insistence, giving me the ‘all clear’ before we left the hospital wing. Though Dr. Sturgis suggested I rest, I was already feeling better. A quick spell whispered once or twice, got rid of the bruises completely, though I was still a little sore. “That’s a neat trick,” Aiden commented, observing the bruises as they faded. I agreed.
