Emma:POV
The morning sun woke me as it lit up the box car of the train I was riding. The sun shinning on my long blonde hair was like so bright you need sunglasses. The train was pulling into the city where hopefully I could get a fresh start. The train came to a stop in Magnolia satiation it was a village full of amazing new adventures and opportunities. I get off the train and I look up at the sky the sunrise glistened off the windows of the train station. The train station was packed with street performers and venders. There was a little girl beautiful blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair with her mommy. They held hands as the waited in line for food from this vender. I take a cab to my new house I bought. It’s a two story house 4 bedroom 2 ½ bathrooms. The inside is all hard wood floors that look absolutely gorgeous. It had an old rustic fireplace with such beautiful wooden mantle. The mover hadn’t made it with my things quite yet and there were a few things I was waiting on from my mother.
I was sad to leave home, but there was no chance of ever bing happy living there. I needed to be myself and I needed out of that town. It was too full of ghosts for me. My heart began to race as I thought about Ariel. No I came here to move on. I need to be happy even if its on my own. I have my art to do my new art gallery was being opened, I was beyond proud of myself I never thought I’d actually be getting to. I heard a knock at the door so I go over it’s the movers with my stuff. I get my house all settled in. I pay the men who helped me then they leave as I turn and look at my new home. It quite different from back home. I’m from a small little town from the a few villages over the mountains. It doesn’t snow here like it dose back home. I miss the snow sometimes however it’s a heavy of a memory.
I grab my coat and head down to the art gallery. I chose to walk threw town to see my new environment. The trees were starting to bloom, after all it was April. Spring time air and a warm sun made the cool crisp air feel refreshing. I stop to look at the river thinking I bet its really cold still. I loved looking the waves and the running water. I continued walking on after a minute. I reached the gallery, because I wanted to see how the set up was going. To have my sculptures and panting on display after all these years of work I can’t believe my dream was coming true. I asked around and one of the guys helping me set up recommended the bar across the road from me. He said they have good drinks and the food I hear is amazing for a bar food. I head over to get some lunch. Looking at the outside of the bar it had pretty neon lights Aschenputtel. That’s a very interesting name for a bar.
I walked in the bar was not super busy a steady flow of customers. when I order a hamburger with bbq sauce. I turn away from the bar with my coke and ran right into the girl next to me on accident. Lucky me the my soda was spilt only on me. I went to apologies to her but when my eyes caught hers. It was like I couldn’t move my mind went into a daze. She looked at me with a smile saying “you alright there?” I took a minute to pull myself out of my trance. “Ummm? Yes I’m so sorry I wasn’t paying enough attention to my surroundings.” I replied. She said “well it’s quite alright My name is Regina Swan I own the bar.” I was so embarrassed I replied I’m Emma Mills I’m sorry for walking into you Ms Swan.” As I turn and run out the door red as a stop sign. I thought to myself what was that about.
I went back to the gallery it was all ready for the opening tomorrow night. Turned looking at the bar, remembering the encounter. What happened to me why did I feel that feeling. Her eyes looked into mine and its like I felt a jolt in my heart. My heart started to race the more I thought about it. This is crazy it was probably my nerves for the art show tomorrow.
After closing down the gallery I decided to walk home. It was a nice evening. And the wind was nice and cold. Reminds me of that cold winter night, when I lost Ariel…
I tried to bury the memory. I get home I walk in, take my off my coat. I look in the bathroom mirror at the stain of coke on my shirt. I thought about her, the bar owner lady.
Regina’s long back hair all put up in a lovely ponytail. Her gorgeous dark eyes, that just stoped me in my tracks. It had been years since I felt that sensation. I went took a nice long soak and got into bed. I took out my scratch book and I tried to do some drawing. However I couldn’t think of anything to draw. I hit a block I couldn’t get myself to even put pencil to paper.
The next morning I get up and do my make up. Got all dressed I decided to ware my nice skin tight jeans that made my thighs look really good with a purple tank top and my red leather jacket. I walk out on my back patio and smoked a cigarette. The cool morning breeze as I gaze into the sunrise. I get my art bag and walk out my door. I took a taxi down to the gallery. As I get out o
