Baby Series # 1:- Sam

CHAPTER FIVE

"Sam, you also know why we got married, just because we slept together does not mean that I love you and Whatever happened between us happened just because we both were drunk. I will never sleep with you if I am in my right sense. This was a mistake, Sam, you know what marrying you was a mistake. Last night's issue doesn't matter to me and it will be better if you also forget about it. I knew from the start this plan was useless, this marriage and this acting you know what, I am so done with it. And mark my word, Sam If I found it was your doing, nobody can save you from me. Ask for contraceptives from the housekeeper.  I do not want to worry about another burden. Especially I don't want any child from you. Your place and importance both in my life are less than my housekeepers.  It would be nice if you stay in your limits. Never ever think of crossing your limits. I don't know what game are you trying to play but one thing you should know, you will never win from me." Jasper said angrily gripping her hand tightly, Sam's hand hurt with such an intense grip, but Jasper could not see anything in his anger. 

Then he left the room angrily shutting the door with loud THUDD. Abandoning Sam in crying mess and with a broken heart.

The next morning housemaid brought breakfast in Sam's room with contraceptive pills.

" Where is my favorite, cute adorable and pretty goddaughter???" Neil asked singing looking here and there, pretending he didn't see Alexandria behind her mother. In response, Alexandria tightly clutched her mother's leg, hiding her face between her palm giggling.

" Oh I can hear her, but hotty Neil can't see where is she???" While singing he picked her from behind and Alexa squeals loudly.

" Can hotty Neil get a kiss from pretty Alexa," Neil asked her facing her cheeks towards Alexa but next word not only shocked him as well as SAm.

" I am sowry hotty Neil but I pwomised Tommy that from now on I will not kiss other bowys," ( I am sorry hotty Neil but I promised Tommy that from now on I will not kiss other boys) Alexa said seriously with a cute little pout. Sam was shocked, she asked

" Baby and who is this Tommy ."

" Mommy he is my bowyfwend, he said I am pwetty, also kissed me, but when I told him about Hotty Neil he said, he will not mawy me if I kiss other boys.

( Mommy he is my boyfriend, he said I am pretty, also kissed me, but when I told him about Hotty Neil he said, he will not marry me if I kiss other boys)

" Aw, my innocent cute little angel, he is a bad boy, you will tell him-" Neil was cut off by Sam.

" Baby you are too young for a boyfriend, how about you go play with your doll, mommy is going to make dinner," Sam said sweetly.

" Sam, that Tommy boy is corrupting our angle, I think we should change her playschool or what about we charge s****l assault, he kissed Alexa, I will handle that case" Neil was being possessive, Alexa had wrapped him around her little finger, the horrific and jealous look on Neil was entertaining, and Sam was enjoying it.

" Really Sam you are smiling, I am serious."

"Relax Neil they both are just child, now come and help me," Sam said moving towards the kitchen.

" Sam, do you think I mean Uhm not sure, youshouldtellAlexaaboutherfather."

" Neil!!! " Sam asked arching her one eyebrow, putting her both hands on her hip.

" What I will be homeless if you throw me out in the middle of the night, and looks are giving me clearly says you are not going to feed me, you really are going to throw your handsome, hot best friend in street hungry," Neil asked placing his one hand on his chest and another one on his head. Neil knew it was a soft topic for her, he was trying to lighten her mood before dropping a bomb.

" Ok don't give me that look, but I think both Jasper and Alexa deserve to know about each other, I don't give sh*t about Jasper but Alexa deserves it, Sam, we both know father's presence in a child's life is very important. We both hate our fathers is a different matter, but at least give her a chance to know her father, then she can decide what she feels about him." Neil said softly taking her hands on his hands slightly rubbing it.

" I don't know Neil, I just want him out of our life but Also I can't change, that he is the father of my daughter, I will think about it," Sam said passing him a little smile.

After dinner, Alexa wanted to eat ice cream, They went to the victory garden, just as they were entering Neil's cellphone rings and he excused him to attend the call.

" Baby what flavor you want?" Sam asked Alexa,

" Mommy I want Mastic with Mahlab" Alexa shouted excitedly rising her one hand.

" OK, one salted caramel gelato and one Mastic paired with Mahlab, Uhm Neil? ok baby just stays there don't go anywhere I am just going out to ask Neil, just stay here ok".

"Ok Mommy I am big girl," Alexa said bluffing her chest with a scoff.

ON the other side at the same place, Jasper was waiting for his ice cream.

"Oh come on Jasper, you are such a bore, my one friend at workplace recommended this victory garden place, she told me if you ever went to new york you should try ice cream of that place, please I want to try their ice cream. Will you please take your nose out of that damn file? You own me, I waited two hours for you" Sam wanted to eat ice cream, Jasper was in the meeting since morning, she was bored while waiting for him.

"Ok but don't take too long," Jasper said taking off his glasses while pinching his bridge of the nose.

At the shop, Sam again complains when he ordered her, she can go to buy ice cream while he waits for her in his car.

"Really Jasper." she waited for him outside his car with a raised eyebrow and hands on her hips.

"Jasper, Just an hour, it's not like you will lose cases if you enjoy little time eating ice cream. You are reacting like you have to take charge of the whole world. You should smile more often, you look handsome in that way."He was never good at handling compliments, especially from Sam. So he concentrated on his cell phone. Then while entering the shop she asked him about the flavor he wants.

"The mastic paired with Mahlab." He replied without taking his eye off from his cellphone. When he didn't feel Sam moving he raised his head. Sam was looking at him amusingly.

"What! I am not that boring ok, I just don't try anything new because I like stability, I don't want unnecessary whatever. Please do it fast, or I will leave without you." He snapped. Jasper was feeling uncomfortable with Sam's ocean blue gaze.

"One salted caramel gelato and one Mastic paired with Mahlab." As Sam said Jasper scoffed loudly shaking his head.

"Do you have any problem, Jasper?"

" For a person who was just lecturing me just a minute ago about being boring and predictable, your salted caramel gelato is very common and simple," Jasper said taunting. Sam opened her mouth to argue but Jasper beats her saying " Salted caramel gelato is so simple and boring."

Jasper was in his thought remembering his precious moment with Sam in this same place, that day they were like long lost friends, both never know they have this side. He came out of his thought when he heard the crying of a little girl. Near the counter, a little girl was crying wearing a frilly pink frock with the pink ribbon tied on her pigtails. Usually, Jasper avoided involving in any commotion but he can't help himself and there was some kind of something, he can't grasp it what it was, but it was tugging him towards her.

"What is happening here?" His cold and powerful aura was so influencing, it frightened the staff who was in the counter.

 " Nothing sir, just we don't have the flavor this little girl wants." 

" Baby, where are your parents? What is a cute little princess is doing here alone? You can try new flavors look they have so many options." He asked bending at her level, patting her head. Jasper could not believe himself, he was actually consoling a little stranger. But something about her was special, her milk chocolate teary brown eyes and a little hiccup was causing uneasy feeling to his heart. He was angry at her irresponsible parents.

" But I only want Mastic with Mahlab. It's my favo... Fawo -etes ( favorite )" she informed him sobbing and almost complaining. Jasper's lip stretched in a little smile at her cute attempt of pronouncing favorite. Jasper picked her up and wiping her tear-stained cheeks asked in the counter.

" I have also ordered Mastic with Mahlab. Is my order is ready?" Jasper was challenging that poor employee, who was shi**ting in his pants at his overbearing, dangerous personality.

" Ye- yes sir but for only one person." He answered stammering. The little angel in his arms giggled at the expression of scared employee and hide her face in the crook of his neck.

After receiving his order and he sits on a nearby chair with Alexa in his lap. 

" Princess, you are a brave girl. Now stop crying or else I am not going to give you this ice cream." Jasper said in a very serious tone. Alexa hurriedly started wiping her face with her little hands. Jasper chuckled and removing his handkerchief from his pocket and wiped her face.

" "You should smile more often, you look handsome in that way," Alexa said touching his face with her soft little hands stretching his lip in a smiling manner.

"Jasper, Just an hour, it's not like you will lose cases if you enjoy little time eating ice cream. You are reacting like you have to take charge of the whole world. You should smile more often, you look handsome in that way."

His chains of thought were interrupted when he feels little lips on his cheek.

" My mommy always says we should thank when someone helps us, But I pwomised Tommy I will not kiss other bowys, so you can't tell him I kissed you." Alexa was now on the ground and she was overpowering Jasper with her intimidating height and an arched eyebrow, then she placed her hands on hips. Her mother always does this when she has to make Alexa do things that she does not want, but it always works on Alexa.

Jasper chuckled clearly knowing this little girl was trying to intimidate him, he nodded his head feigning he was a little scared of her.

He thought she resembles so much of Samantha, 

" Jasper really, after meeting Sam this morning your mind has stopped working, You are sharing your ice cream with some little child you don't even know, then you are seeing Samantha on her, then what next? you will see Samantha in this Shop," He thought.

On the other side of the shop, Sam was searching for Alexa hysterically. When she left the shop searching for Neil, She found him near the car shouting at someone on the phone. She realizes it was his father, after biding his bye he left. Sam was hoping everything was fine with his father. Then she didn't find Alexa where she left her. She asked about her daughter in counter and while handling her salted caramel gelato he informed, she was on the other side of the shop.

There her daughter was sitting in a chair, eating her ice and swinging her legs in the air. Seeing her daughter safe and secure, she was so relieved but next moment her entire demeanor changed she take angry steps towards that table where her daughter was.
