On her dream wedding night to the respected Alpha of the Eclipse Ridge pack, Serena gives herself completely to the man she loves. The passion is wild, intense, and all-consuming unlike anything she imagined.

The next morning, her world explodes with a single phone call.

“Honey, I’m so sorry I got stuck at the airport. Did my brother arrive home safely to help you with the luggage?”

The voice is her husband, Alpha Damien Blackwood.

But the man still asleep beside her, covered in her scent and her marks, is not Damien.

It’s his identical twin, Ryker Blackwood the exiled bad boy hockey captain with a dark reputation and a dangerous obsession.

Now Serena is trapped in a web of forbidden desire, lethal secrets, and a mate bond that chose the wrong brother. One twin stands for duty and packs power. The other awakens a raw, obsessive hunger she cannot fight.

As the lies grow and rival packs threaten war, Serena must survive a betrayal that cuts to the bone, a passion that refuses to die, and an impossible choice that could destroy everything. In a world where wolves claim what is theirs without mercy, the most dangerous bond is the one she never saw coming.

Mine. The word echoes in her blood long after the night she can never undo.

Chapter 1: The Wrong Husband
Serena POV "Yes, just like that," I gasped. Strong hands pinned my wrists above my head against the sheets. His body pressed down on mine, heavy and hot. Every deep thrust sent sparks through me. I could barely catch my breath. "You are mine," he growled in my ear. His teeth scraped along my neck before he bit down. Not hard enough to break skin, but enough to make me arch and moan. "Say it, Serena." "I am yours," I whispered, voice shaky. His grip tightened on my wrists. I loved how he took control. How every move felt like he was claiming me completely. This was Damien. My husband. The alpha I married for our packs. After all the pressure of the alliance, this night made everything feel right. Like we were meant to be. He released my wrists only to grab my hips and pull me closer. His rhythm grew faster, deeper. I wrapped my legs around him, nails digging into his back. The sound of our bodies moving together filled the room along with my soft cries. Every touch felt electric. His scent wrapped around me, strong and masculine. My wolf stirred inside with pure satisfaction. "I have waited so long for this," he said, voice rough. He kissed me hard, biting my lower lip. "No one else gets to have you. Only me." His words sent a thrill through me. I had carried this quiet fear that the marriage was just duty. My family needed this union with the Blackwood pack to stay safe. But right now, with him inside me, claiming me so completely, it did not feel like duty. It felt fated. Like my wolf had finally found home. Sweat slicked our skin as we moved. He flipped me onto my stomach without warning. He pulled my hips up and pressed a firm hand between my shoulder blades, holding me down while he took me from behind. The new angle made me cry out louder. "Damien," I moaned. "Please." "I love hearing you beg," he replied. His voice had a dark edge I had never heard before. His fingers dug into my flesh as he drove harder. The intensity built until I shattered, waves of pleasure crashing over me. He followed right after, groaning my name as he finished deep inside. We collapsed together, breathing hard. He pulled me against his chest, arms wrapping around me like he never wanted to let go. My body felt heavy and satisfied. This was the relief I needed after months of wedding planning and pack politics. For the first time in years, I felt safe. Loved. "I love you," I murmured sleepily, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. He stroked my hair. "You are mine now, little dove. Always." Exhaustion took over. Our legs tangled together under the sheets. His heartbeat thumped steady against my ear as I drifted off, wrapped in his warmth and scent. Morning light came through the curtains when the phone rang on the bedside table. I groaned and reached for it without opening my eyes fully. My body still ached in the best way from last night. I answered, voice thick with sleep. "Hello?" "Honey, I am so sorry," Damien's familiar voice came through. "I got stuck at the airport last night. Bad weather delayed everything. Did my brother arrive home safely to help you with the luggage?" I froze. The words did not make sense at first. My eyes opened slowly. The man still sleeping beside me had the same dark hair, the same strong jaw. But as I looked closer, small differences hit me. A thin scar along his collarbone that Damien did not have. His scent was slightly sharper, wilder. Horror washed over me like cold water. This was not Damien. My heart slammed in my chest. Confusion made my thoughts spin. How? When? The night replayed in flashes. The way he pinned me. The bites. The raw hunger. It felt so right. But now... Lingering arousal still hummed in my body, mixing with the growing panic. My skin remembered every grip, every command. I had given myself completely to the wrong man. To Damien's twin brother. The phone felt slippery in my hand. Damien was still talking on the line, but his words faded. I could not look away from the man next to me. He stirred. His eyes opened, dark and intense, locking onto mine. A slow, possessive smile curved his lips. Before I could pull away, his arm shot out and wrapped around my waist. He yanked me back against his hard chest, his breath hot on my neck. "Mine," he murmured, voice deep and certain, as t he full weight of my mistake crashed down on me.
