STOLEN

Chapter 4

Mark and Eath were picked up buy their older brother while I had to wait at the gate . I had been offered a ride home and I couldn't refuse . The same car from morning stopped next to me and I entered . I sat at the back seat and we started the driveb. It was quiet at first until I decided to break the silenceb. " So . . . What exactly are you guys ? " I had been curious to know since yesterday .

" Well Nico is kind of my boyfriend ish . " "Boyfriend ish ? " What was that supposed to mean ? "So you guys are not besties ? " I asked out of curiosity . " No . Those are just things said by people at school . " Nico had been the one to answer this time .

" How is your mom doing ? " Nico asked looking at me through the mirror . I guess they did have the right to know since they had helped me . " She is doing ok but I'm taking her to the hospital on Sunday . She has a check upb. " " Which hospital do you take her to ? " Luke asked looking genuinely curious . " Nothing fancy , just the local hospital."

It was nice to have other people to talk to other than my friends . The car stopped signaling my arrival home . I was about to get out but Nico's voice stopped me . " I won't be available tomorrow but Luke will pick you up. We will met at the house on Saturday since I won't be there tomorrow . " Well that was kind of sad since I had been really anticipating for tomorrown. As if reading my mind , Luke smiled at me before speaking. " Don't worry . That means we can spend the whole day together . " Well that was better . " Ok . Have a good evening guys . Bye . " I walked out after Nico gave me a hum and Luke waving at me with an enthusiastic bye . I walked to my house with a smile on my face . I opened the door and closed it . I went to my mom's room to check on her . I found her by the window looking at the door with a smile . " Hi mom . " I great as I walk towards her . " How are you feeling ? " " I'm ok don't worry about me . Now tell who were those two ? " My mom new about my sexuality since she was the closest to me . I told her about almost everything . Well except for a few things . " They are my new friends . " " Friends ? Are you sure ? Cause your blush is implying something else . " Her wiggling eyebrows were not really helping . " Moooom . " I whine and she burst out laughing . I smiled glad to see her still holding on to that sparkle in her eyes .

I helped her lie down and went to make dinner . We ate in her room as we talkedb. She did ask a few questions about Luke and Nico but soon forgot about it . After we were done I did the dishes then cleaned the house before taking a bath . I did my homework then went to wish my mom goodnight . After which I went to my room to get some sleep .

The next day I did my things as usual and made breakfast for my mom . I made her something to eat while I was away . I heard the doorbell ring and I knew it was Luke . I checked if I had everything before opening the door .

"Good morning . " I greeted cheerfully . I had woken up in a good mood and i had no idea why . " Someone is in a good mood . " " Let's just say a happy start of the day . " He led me to the car and opened the door for me like the gentle man he is . He walked around the front and settled in his seat . He started the car the first few moments filled with a comfortable silence .

It didn't last long as he decided to break it . " So how was your night ? " " It was ok . What about you ? " " It was interesting . " He said it with a smirk which gave me the idea of what he was talking about .

I decided to take this chance to ask a question I had been curious about for a while . " How did you and Nico meat ? " He remained silent for a while before he started talking . " it was about three years ago . I had just turned sixteen and with my sweet sixteen came a tragedy the rendered me homeless . . " I listened to him quietly trying to process everything .

Flashback .

It had been two months since Luke's house had burned down . For those two months he had not seen his father . He didn't know where he disappeared to . He was sitting at a bench trying to figure out what to do next . It was probably way past midnight and the streets were completely empty . He tried to fall asleep on his usual bench but he couldn't . His rumbling tummy wouldn't let him . He decided to take a walk to see if he could find anything to eat . He finally passed out in front of a club .

The next time he woke up he found himself in a room . It had been so long since he had so comfortable that he didn't want to wake up . He covered himself up only for realization to hit him . He jolted up and looked around . He couldn't make out much since it was dark .

He tried to get out of bed but ended up on the ground. It's then that he realized how his body was feeling . He was so tired and almost all his muscles ached . It was then his stomach found convenient to rumble .

He jumped from a sudden deep chuckle . He looked towards the door to see a dark shadow . He had not even heard the door open . The lights were turned on and his eyes landed on the tray of food in the man's hand .
