Chapter 3

We had just arrived at school and Luke had been squirming the whole ride , whimpering and glaring at Nico who just kept on smirking . It was actually funny even if I didn't know what was going on .

We separated at the gate and I headed to my friends who were waiting for me at the entrance as usual . I wasn't much of a social person so I only had two friends , Mark and Eath . They were both twins . We had known each other since childhood .

I waved at them as I approach them and they waved back. " Was that Nicolas ? " Eath asked. " And Luke ? " Mark followed . " Ummm . . . Yeah . Why ? " I asked . " Why ? Because they are the most popular seniors in school . " Mark said . " I know that . " We talked as we walked back to class . We stopped in the hallway to pick up our books .

The school was divided into two but joined by the cafeteria . Nicolas and Luke were on the other side . Nico was in his last year and Luke second last .

We had arrived in class and took our seats . The twins were arguing about who has the best looks while I tried not to get involved . But I guess it was inevitable considering I sat between them . " Nat tell my brother I look better than him . " Eath started. " Nat tell my sister that I look better . " Mark said . Now this were the situations I hated . " Do you both realize that you look exactly the same ? You're twins . "

The teacher entered before they could start it all over . The class ended faster than I expected but I hod no complains .

Were in the cafeteria sitting at a very far away table . We usually sat just the three of us so our table was never full, but the cafeteria was .

A/n pov .

As they entered the cafeteria all eyes turned to then . It wasn't really something new to them . But now there was one problem . " Where do we sit Nico ? " He looked up from his phone realising that there are no empty tables . " There is Nathan . You can go sit with him and I'll be back . " Nico said as he headed out to pick up a phone call .

Luke went to the table leading everyone to start whispering . But he really couldn't care less .

I saw Luke and Nico enter the cafeteria . They looked around for a minute until Nico's eyes landed on me . I panicked and tried to hide my face but I don't think that was very effective . Eath tapped me on the shoulder . I looked at her but froze after hearing what she had to say . " Luke is coming this way . " I looked up just as he arrived at our table . He took a seat next to me and I could feel all the stares on me . " Hi Luke . " I tried to make myself calm but it didn't work . I was still having an inner turmoil . " Hi . " He gave me a mini smile before looking at my friends . " Oh yea. Luke this is Eath and her twin brother Mark . " I introduced them and they exchanged greetings. I expected it to be weird but it wasn't . " Where is Nico ? " I asked out of curiosity . " He went to pick a call but I don't know when he's coming back . " Luke replied trying to look around . " Wait . Why don't you have food ? " "Nico will get it for me . " we continued to talk until the air suddenly changed proclaiming the arrival of Nico . His aura was very scary especially when he seemed mad like now . He placed Luke's food in front of him then took a seat . Luke looked like he was about to complain about his food but one look at Nico and he was stuffing his face . It was kinda funny to be honest .

After we were done eating we said our goodbyes and we all went our way . Mark , Eath and I started to walk back to class .

Spending time with them was fun . I never really thought that it was possiblen. But here I amb. The class went fast since I had only been thinking about those two .
