Lykeon’s POV
The day before the attack on Summer and Nora
I woke up late for training, sleeping through my alarms, so I had to rush to get dressed and get to the training fields. Since I took over seven years ago, I improved our fighting techniques, instilling Jujutsu, Judo, and Krav Maga into our training. Since then, our warriors have become stronger and more resilient in fighting.
My brothers, Jules, my Beta, and Leif, my Gamma, started training without me, as they knew what to do. I ran up to them and sat down on the ground to stretch.
“Late night, brother?” Leif asked me, tossing a warrior over his shoulder.
“Paperwork,” I answered.
“More like Teonna hiding in your office.” Jules teased, smiling at me while he was waiting for the warrior to attack him.
“f**k you, Julian!” I growled. “If that b***h would show up at my office or my suite in the middle of the night, I would banish the cunt. I can’t stand her.”
Teonna is the pack slut, and on the night of mine, Julian, and our sister, Kass’s eighteenth birthday, she will not leave me alone, claiming that we had s*x, even though I know we didn’t have s*x. All we did slept in the same bed. She even claims her son was mine, but I proved her wrong when I had a paternity test done, and it came back saying I am not the father. I warned Teonna that if she continues her shenanigans, I will find the boy’s father, give him custody of the child, and banish her from the pack. If she wanted to see her son, it would have to be somewhere off the pack lands.
We trained with the warriors for an hour and a half. Even my oldest sister, and former Alpha Piper, came down to train with us. She does her own training at her house at the top of the hill, but she comes down to train with us at least once a week.
After training, I went upstairs to the Alpha suite. It is quiet and empty now that my mom and my youngest sister Emma moved out and moved in with Rocky. Nana unfortunately passed away two years ago, so it is just me in this enormous suite. I had it remodeled, with new cabinets and countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, wood flooring throughout the suite, and fresh paint and light fixtures.
I took a shower and threw on a white dress shirt, khaki colored dress pants, and a pair of beach fisherman sandals. When I get dressed for work in the pack, I like to be professional, but I like to stay comfortable, especially when I have to walk around the pack.
I gathered my papers from my bedroom and went to my office. When I got to my office, Theo, Teonna’s son, was sitting in the sitting area. He seemed to want to talk to me about something.
I turned to look at him, and I signaled for him to come into the office. Once we were both in my office, I shut the door and locked it, giving us a few moments of privacy.
“How can I help you, Theo?” I asked him, sitting down at my desk. I motioned for him to sit down in the chairs in front of my desk. The young boy looked nervous and was wringing his hands.
“Alpha, I was wondering if it is true.” He began, then looked up at me. “Are you my father?”
I kept my cool on the outside, but I was fuming on the inside. Teonna is still going around six and a half years later after Theo was born, telling everyone I am his father, when both Teonna and I have the proof that I’m not.
“Theo, I hate to disappoint you, but unfortunately, I am not your father.” I told him. There was a wave of disappointment across his face, and I thought he was going to cry.
“Ok, Alpha, thank you for telling me the truth.” He said, sliding out of the chair and heading to the door.
“Theo, we will find out who your father is.” I said to him, walking him to him. I crotched down to his level, so I could look at him in the eye. “I know your father is a warrior, but I do not know who. We can find out if you want to.”
He inhaled sharply, then exhaled. “No, that is ok, Alpha. I just wanted the truth.” He opened the door, and walked out, with Leif and Jules standing outside my door.
“What was that about?” Jules asked me as they came into my office.
“Teonna,” I growled. “Get her nasty, lying ass in here right now!”
Half an hour later, Teonna strolled into my office, taking her sweet time, shaking her ass as she walked in. She had a smirk on her face, like she won this time.
“Sit down,” I ordered her. She came over and tried to sit in my lap. I shoved her to the side.
“On the other side!” I sat in my chair and glared at her.
“But Alpha, I am supposed to be your Luna, your chosen. I am supposed to sit in your lap.” She pouted as she sat down in the chair in front of my desk.
“That will never happen!” I told her. “The Luna position belongs to my fated mate, who will have a hell of a lot more class than you. She will not be dressing like a ten-cent w***e like you are.” Her jaw dropped to the ground when I said that. “Now, what the hell is this that you are going around and telling everyone that I am Theo’s father? We know that is not true, and I have the proof.”
“Because you will be his stepfather when you take me as your chosen.” Teonna answered.
I stood there, shaking my head. I turned and walked up to the big window, watching the young pups of the pack playing on the playground. To contain my anger, I inhaled sharply. “I am banishing you, Teonna Gibson, from Mountain Moon. I warned you about continuing this charade of becoming the Luna, something that will never happen. Then you continue to tell everyone that Theo is my son when he is not. With your son, he will stay here in the pack. He has the potential to be a great warrior, and he shouldn’t be under your care anymore. My brothers will go with you to your apartment and help you pack your clothes. I want you out of my pack within one hour.”
“But, Alpha, you can’t do that!” She cried. “I am your Luna!”
I heard enough. Walking over to her, I grabbed her by the neck and allowed Mars to come forward.
“You will NEVER be my Luna or my chosen!” I growled at her, with my canines extending. “Either you get your pathetic, stupid ass off my pack lands, or I will kill you in front of everyone!”
Teonna was trembling under my grasp, trying to catch her breath.
“Y-Y-Yes, Alpha!” She stammered.
I took back control and threw her to the ground. “Get the f**k out of my sight. I suggest you leave the west coast because if I find out you are anywhere near the pack, I will have Mars kill you.”
She bowed her head and ran out of my office.
“Damn, brother, about damn time you get rid of her ass.” Leif smiled.
“You two go with her. Take some guards. I want her at the gates in one hour,” I ordered them.
“Yes, Alpha,” they both said, and left my office. I was so pissed at her antics, and I was tired of it. Despite my warnings, she never listened.
I linked my mom and my brother Rocky, telling them that I had banished Teonna and therefore needed them to take in Theo. Although they didn't know what was going on, they were still supportive.
Theo is a good boy, and he shouldn’t be growing up as a rogue.
Theo was standing there when I opened the door to leave.
“Alpha, did you banish my mom?” He asked. “Will you banish me too?”
“No, Theo, you are not. I only banished your mom.” I explained to him. “You will stay in the pack, where you will be safe, and have a bed to sleep in. My mom and stepdad will take you in and allow you to grow up in the pack.”
“Will I have my room, or will I have to sleep on the floor in the living room?” He asked.
I looked at him, confused. “What do you mean?”
“At our place, I sleep in the corner of the living room. Mom sleeps in the bedroom.” He told me. I am going to kill the b***h for doing this to her own son. I gave her a two-bedroom apartment!
“You will have your own room, Theo, and a bed.” Piper walked into my office with concern on her face. “But right now, go with Piper. She’ll take you to my mom’s, and they’ll settle you in comfortably.”
He went up to Piper and took her hand. They both left my office, and I was fuming. I looked at my phone, and her time was up. I went out and got into my Audi and drove down to the east gates, where Teonna was supposed to be.
