Aurora's POV
I was still very flustered from the forehead kiss. It made my heart skip more than a few beats. It was at a standstill for those seconds.
“What just happened?” I asked.
“Uhm, you just did so well in court that the jury might already even be convinced that the dangerously handsome Kai is innocent.” Caitlin said
“No, with Kai I mean.” I said.
“Uhm, he looked at you with baby eyes, like he'd die if he takes them off you.” Cairlin said. I scoffed.
“You really don't believe that, do you?”
“That's not all though. He also saw the bite marks that are almost nonexistent on your shoulders, and the nail injuries on your neck that are barely evident.” Caitlin said.
I ran my hand over them, and that was when I felt little pain from there.
