Aurora's POV
I stayed in my mom's apartment for the night. I slept off in Ruby's arms, crying and unable to tell her what had happened. How do I tell her that another guy I had slept with thrice showed up and shook everything that she had worked so hard to get together?
My mom did not come home the whole night. I did not bother texting or calling her, because her activities were already obvious. I was even most thankful that she had taken them out of the apartment.
Ruby was still asleep when I prepared for work. It was evident that she slept late because of me. The coffee maker was a little warm, and the new book she was reading had gotten to half the page. I had my bath, and changed into new clothes that were Ruby's. She was literally my size, so it wasn't looking all borrowed.
