I would say that it was the fastest ride of my life, but the tension in the car was unbearable and made the ride seem way slower than what it was. Alex drove like a crazy man, bending the steering wheel every few seconds with his tight grip as he swerved between lanes.
As soon as we arrived, we noticed Parker and several of his men waiting for us by the entrance of the pack house.
“Alpha.” Parker nodded at us as we were climbing out of the car. “I’m sorry abo—” he was saying when Alex swung at him.
