*Ruby’s POV*
“How are you feeling?” My mother asked me as she joined Winter and me with the pups. She had been taking care of the pups with the nannies but had gone to get some luna duties done with Alex’s mother.
“Surviving.” I whispered as I cradled my Bella some more. “I just hope we can find him, you know?” I whimpered, looking up so that my unshed tears would somehow dry up.
“Sweetheart,” she whispered as she rubbed my back. “I can’t begin to imagine how it must feel.” She said sadly.
“I know you feel bad, Mom, but can we not? I want to be strong for my mate and pup.” I told her as she nodded before grabbing one of the triplets from the nannies.
