Chapter 3: The tides are turning

When the sun hit the window into our faces, i knew we weren't ready to get up, but that didn't mean we didn't have to. Unfortunately we had a lot to do that day. I had to figure out how to move my schooling online, either by un-enrolling in high school and finding a course online or if they could just send my assignments to hand in and Nico had to prepare, being the future Alpha of the pack.... oh... oh no...
The thought finally dawned on me, with Landon being the future Alpha, that meant I would be the Luna. Oh, Oh no, not being the daughter of an Alpha I was not taught how to be a luna, I did not know the first thing about being someone everyone in the pack looks up to. I knew instantly that Landon felt my fear. How i knew, well simple because i could hear his grumbling as he woke up, and then the way he hugged me from behind, he didn't say anything for the longest time. But finally he spoke
Don't worry, i'll be with you every step of the way. You'll make an amazing Luna Rose. I promise. I promise i will always look out for you, and love you, and put your needs above my own. You are my Luna, my Queen, You were made for me, as i was you. The Moon Goddess would never give you more than you can handle my dear.
And just like that, all my fears melted away, and I was like a puddle, I could feel myself falling in love with him and ready to give into the mate bond. Shaking those thoughts out of my head. I am NOT ready for that, I still want to do all the things, and What if he turns out like his father, i shook my head, i should not think like this with him here. Time to get up. I Stretch and he follows suit, for the first time i realize that we were in his room, so I stand up and get ready to leave for my room, when he pulls me back.
Hey, where do you think you're going? He asked.
Giggling i reply To get dressed Nico, what would people think of the Future Luna wearing yesterday's clothes?
He barked out a laugh and nodded, ushering me out of the room, i presume he himself will be getting ready for the day ahead of him now.
Running to my room, I quickly shut and lock the door and run into the bathroom to shower. Quickly stripping I jump in and let the heat relax my body, then remembering there is a lot to do today, I quickly wash my hair with my all time fav. shampoo and conditioner, it smells like Strawberries, then comes the quick shave and finally washing every part of my body with my Strawberry Vanilla body wash, i jump out and grab a towel. Once i was all dried off, i wrapped the towel around my body and grabbing my hair products, putting on the leave-in conditioner and a heat protectant i blow dry my hair, and curl it, then comes the make-up opting to do a nuteral look, since i will be Future Luna, i have to look the part.
Looking through my clothes I start feeling frustrated, looking the part of being future luna is harder than it looks. I'm about to give up looking when Mom comes in and laughs at me, i know i must look rediculous glaring at my clothing. She shakes her head and starts looking at my clothes and found me 3 outfits that look perfect for what i need. Smiling up at her, letting out a little giggle.
Thanks Mom, i must have looked at these 50 times and could not see what you do
She smiled and replied with- Dear it's just your nerves, we can go shopping later today for new clothes.
Thanks mom! I replied hugging her and running to the bathroom to get dressed.
Finally emerging in my new outfit, we leave together and walk to breakfast.
When we enter, we see Landon already in his seat and mom runs to hers, I had to walk past him to get to my seat when he pulled me back to him and on his lap, i giggle at his antics and accept. We make our plates up, and i noticed some girls glaring at me, but i choose to rise above and ignore it.
Once breakfast is over, he gives me a quick peck, and hands me his credit card.
Buy what ever you need once your done at the school. Moneys no object my Queen. He says smoothly and gives me another kiss before walking up the stairs to his office.
Smiling i start walking to my car, when Mom runs up behind me hollering to wait for her. So i do, and we finish the walk to the car together, the drive to school was a quick one, we enter together and head right to the office. Thankfully this is a school for just werewolves and the dean would understand. I just hoped i would not have to finish the school year signing up for a different place. Trying to shake off my nerves i walked into the office with mom right by my side, keeping out heads up high, walking up to the receptionist and said
We need to see the Dean, as soon as possible.
The receptionist nodded and called to let the Dean know that he had visitors who said they needed to speak to him immediately. Soon she let them into his office, My mother smiled and thanked her, while turning her attention to Dean James
