Never Be The Same

Third Person's P.O.V Gevia woke up groaning like there was no tomorrow. It was still so early in the morning and she already wanted to sleep again, forever if she could. She was already in a bad mood because of what had happened the night before. There was school and she didn't want to go to school. "f*****g Alex Samson." she cursed under her breath. She begrudgingly tore her body away from her bed and got ready for school. With a heavy heart, she skipped breakfast and went to school almost immediately. She was contemplating whether she should tell Joshua or not. "That b***h knew that something was going to happen last night, that's why he said that I was going to fall in love. Who the f**k would fall in love with that prick?" Gevia was talking to herself while being stuck in traffic. The traffic wasn't giving her any break. She was becoming more and more irritated by the second. She looked straight ahead. Alex was in her mind, running freely with no clothes on. "What the f**k am I thinking about?" Gevia scolded herself before shaking her head harshly. She sighed. When she got to school, the people immediately noticed that Gevia was not in the mood again. She was still contemplating whether to tell Joshua or not. We're still not that close. I doubt he'd stay. That was what Gevia was thinking about. She decided to keep the kiss to herself. She went to the classroom and sat on her usual chair in the front. She decided to take a nap at her desk since it was still early for their first period. She looked around before closing her eyes shut. Alex was always early though. Alex came in and saw Gevia peacefully sleeping. They smiled to themselves. Alex sat beside Gevia and took a quick picture. "Ah, so beautiful," Alex murmured. Alex looked around before looking back at Gevia. Alex tucked a stray hair behind Gevia's ear, making Gevia tilt her head a bit before settling down comfortably on her arms. Alex leaned in dangerously, a bit closer to Gevia's face. Gevia's thick lashes extended to infinity. Her luscious lips were puffy and being squished to one side due to her leaning on her arms. Gevia looked calm. Serenity was beside her. Alex couldn't help but be drawn by Gevia's seductive lips. A tint of dark red was what Gevia's lips were. But when Alex heard familiar laughter in the hallway, Alex immediately stood up and went to her usual seat, which was a few seats beside Gevia. Gevia was woken up by the laughter her classmates were producing. Gevia groaned loudly and harshly, letting her classmates know that she was irritated. Her classmates went silent and proceeded to their seats with hushed voices. Gevia's eyebrows met. She looked upset. Alex giggled to themself before minding their business. "You're up and upset. You okay?" Joshua suddenly pops out of nowhere. Alex's eyebrows rose. Somehow, Joshua's voice irritated Alex to the point of wanting to sew Joshua's lips or abduct him and tape him off somewhere until he dies so that Joshua won't be able to get close to Gevia. Gevia's dilemma rose. She had already decided not to tell Joshua and that was what she was going to do. "Hmm, I just didn't sleep well." Joshua immediately sat down next to Gevia. "Did something happen?" Joshua was excited to hear about whatever news Gevia was about to give him. Gevia mentally sighed. This was what she talked about earlier when she was stuck in traffic. "It was a pretty boring night, actually. Our fathers just talked, leaving us out of the conversation. Then went home." Alex was mad. Is she trying to pursue Joshua for her to lie about it? Alex couldn't help but think about themself. Alex grinded her teeth, obviously pissed. Alex's dislike towards Joshua deepened. "Really? That's it? Nothing else?" Joshua couldn't believe his ears. He was pretty sure that Alex was going to do something. Joshua could see it in Alex's eyes. The longing that Joshua saw in Alex's eyes was the same when he looked at himself in the mirror. It was pretty obvious to Joshua that Alex liked Gevia. Joshua hit the jackpot when he told Gevia about forbidden love. He connected the dots; why Alex hadn't confessed to Gevia yet. "Yep, nothing else." Gevia answered, popping the 'p'. Joshua was suspicious, but he decided to drop it off. He didn't want to force the truth out of Gevia's mouth. He noticed how Gevia didn't ask him about things that he wasn't ready to talk about, so he was willing to let Gevia have that right as well. "I see. Well, that's sad." Alex couldn't help but overhear what the two were talking about. When Joshua said 'well, that's sad.', Alex immediately thought Joshua was being sarcastic. Alex's blood was boiling. He wanted to strangle Joshua so badly. "Eh, we should just be strangers." Gevia shrugged it off. The teacher came, much to Alex's liking. The conversation was cut off and Alex calmed down. Alex focused on the lesson and Gevia did the same. Joshua, on the other hand, was looking out the window, where he was staring at someone specific. Once the period was over, Gevia bid farewell to Joshua as she wanted to go to the bathroom. On her way there, Gevia suddenly felt a sudden pull from the side. Gevia was dragged to a dark corner, devoid of light. "What-" Gevia wasn't able to finish her sentence. She was cut off by a pair of familiar lips. The other person's scent reminded her of Alex. There was no one brave enough to pull Gevia to a dark corner and steal a kiss unless you were someone who had a death wish or you were Alex Samson. Gevia fought off the kiss once, but last night it took everything in her to actually push Alex away. Right now, she was struggling not to reply to Alex. Alex's soft and squishy lips were inviting. Gevia slightly pulled away, heaving for air. She gasped for it, like she hadn't been able to breathe until now. Gevia's eyesight adjusted to the darkness, now able to see the smirk on Alex's face. Gevia couldn't say anything. As much as she wanted to, she didn't have the strength to open her mouth and utter a word. Her knees were wobbly and her mind was hazy. Her heartbeat was going crazy. All she could think about was the kiss and how she was slowly liking it. Slowly unable to stop herself from kissing her kiss stealer back. "Just breathe," Alex's husky voice wavered Gevia's resolve. Gevia did what Alex said, but immediately stopped. Alex took Gevia's lips, but this time, a bit harsher. Alex nibbled on Gevia's lower lip like it was food, tasting the first bite. Alex was gentle, but managed to let Gevia know that Alex was hungry for Gevia's kisses. Gevia motivated her self-control. She didn't want to kiss back, she didn't want to. Almost. But Alex stopped and immediately ran away, leaving Gevia behind. Frustrated. Annoyed. Wanting more. Gevia's back hit the wall, dumbfounded by what just happened. "Huh..?" was the first word that came out of her mouth. Alex was already kissing her incredibly well even without Gevia's cooperation. How much more if Gevia were to kiss her back? Will I be able to handle it? Gevia asked herself. She shook her head, slapping her cheeks to wake her up. "That must've been a dream," Gevia told herself. She stood up and went home, skipping her afternoon classes. She wasn't ready to look at Alex again. Her knees were still wobbly and her heartbeat was still going fast. Alex was in a pretty good mood, knowing that Gevia had skipped class because of them. The rest of the day ended and Alex went home. Alejandro wasn't around, and Alex was, again, greeted by her servants. It was a daily routine at that point. Alejandro would only come home if there was a family-friendly dinner with Dave and Gevia. Alex laid on her bed, staring at the ceiling with a smile on her lips. Alex was picturing Gevia's smile, and how Alex was the reason for that smile. "Ah, when?" Alex asked themselves. Alex shifted, grabbing a pillow and holding it as if it was Gevia. Facing the pillow with a smile on Alex's face. "What if I like you?" Alex asked the pillow. "What if I like you too?" Alex said in a high-pitched tone, terribly mimicking Gevia's angelic voice. Somehow, that scenario made Alex hug the pillow tightly while rolling around their queen-sized bed. Alex was grinning, giggling maliciously. "Oh, my f*****g God!" Alex shouted, happy with her own imagination. "I can't do that. f**k, her lips-" Alex didn't finish their sentence and just sighed contently. The feeling of Gevia's lips on Alex's lingered, making the teenager hyper. Gevia, on the other hand, sneezed, suddenly shuddered for no particular reason. Gevia was doing her nightly routine, which was taking care of her skin, especially her face. She was a beauty, naturally, but she didn't want to take advantage of that and wanted to preserve her beauty. She didn't want to regret not taking care of herself when the time came for olden age. "What the hell?" she asked no one in particular. But she shrugged it off and continued applying her serums and creams. Once she was done, she called it a day and went to sleep. Alex, inside her room, stood up from the bed and went to her closet where her 'toys' were. She smiled evilly once she saw them, counting the toys with their eyes. "I wonder if she wants to play with me."
