CHAPTER 7 The girls set arranged things so the customers could pass by the counter and pick what they want, They did not want to have to hire people to wait on tables. From the time they opened their door, there was a steady stream of customers. Some took their coffee and sweets to go; some took their orders and sat at one of the tables to enjoy them. All o the customers, eating inside, were impressed with the coffee. Most of them came back for refills. Katie’s sweets were also a hit. The only problem the girls had was no-one seemed in a hurry to leave. They lingered at the tables, while other customers waited.
