CHAPTER 8
Carlos and Katie did not stay out long, after their meal they headed back to her place. It had been a long day and she wanted to relax. They settled on the couch in front of the television and put a movie on. Katie leaned back against Carlos and he held her close in his arms. They both fell asleep there on the couch held tight in each other's arms. The television sound had been turned low. The noise it made when the movie went off did not disturb them. They slept on until morning.
Katie woke first and lay, quietly looking at Carlos, and enjoying waking up with his arms around her. Carlos stirred and opened his eyes to find Katie grinning at him.
