Meanwhile, Gabe had been looking for Olive. He drove around town, checking all the places she usually hung out. He had not found her anywhere. He was about to give up and drive out to her parents' house. He was really hoping to talk to her on neutral territory, but it did not look like it was going to be an option. Just as he was about to give up, he spotted Pam coming out of the drug store. He quickly parked his car and went over to head Pam off before she could leave.
“Hi, Pam,” said Gabe, stopping in front of her.

“You could tell me where to find Olive,” said Gabe.
Pam laughed. “She is at Laura’s house. They are planning a baby shower for Marissa.”
