Episode 8

Lucas's Point Of View,

I just made my way to work, I have some important meetings to attend and it feels like they all are gonna wait for nothing, I am really not feeling like going and meeting them, all I could think right now is about her, what the hell she is thinking about and what she is hiding from me, I just do not know what I will do and how I will manage to find it, I was driving like slowly and people were honking behind me like crazy but who cares, I was driving and stopped the car when I heard my phone was ringing.

"Hello sir good morning", I heard a familiar voice and I just got a little excited and curious about what information he got.

"Jen, good morning, tell me what information did you get about her, I was waiting for your call you know", I said to him and I just heard him sigh and he did not say anything for some good seconds.

"Amm well, sir, she is really keeping a low profile, I only could get her home address and she is working at college, you already know the rest and also she did not get involved in any road accident and there is no information about her getting involved with any crime case too, but three years ago she used to visit the hospital often but I did not know why coz the hospital did not share this personal information", he said and I just sighed, he could not get any specific information and I am really upset about it but it is fine coz he tried.

"It is okay Jen, thank you for all the information", I thanked him and I just do not know what to say now, I thought he will get all the information but he could not.

"I will try to dig some more information, I maybe need some more time for that", I heard him saying and I just agreed and hang up, he said that she used to go to the hospital often, what happened to her, why she was going there, I need to know everything about her, I just started going to the hospital so that I could ask them about her, I know that they do not share this information but there is no way that they could deny me, I was about to go that way but my phone started ringing once again.

"Sir, she came college, she is looking so tired today", I got the information about her, there is a friend of mind in the college, I told him to take care of her and also asked him to tell me when she comes to the college so he did and now I heard that she is looking tired, that was obvious, she was tired, she did not sleep well the last night and she was drunk too, so there are chances that she is having headache too, why she did not take a day off, she needed rest, sometimes I think that she is changed a lot, she is so stubbron now, the old Ava was just like a doll, she never protest or she used to do everything I say or anyone says but now I think that she hardly hears anyone, I just turned my car and made my way to the college, I really need to take care of her, no matter what happened in the past, my love for her could never change, soon I reached to the college and parked my car to the parking.

"Good morning Lucas, I thought you will not come back to the college, I am so happy to see you here, but you know you are looking so damn handsome in this suit, but may I ask why you are wearing a suit in the college, you do not look like a student now", the same girl again was standing in front of me and making me angry, but somehow I tried to control my anger, I do not want to hurt her feelings, I respect every girl so I know that she would feel bad if she will saw my other angry face.

"Go away little girl, you are wasting your time", I said to her in a cold tune and I saw how her face turned sad and tears build up in her eyes and I just cursed under my breath, I said that I did not want to hurt her but I just did it right now, how I could be so stupid.

"You are really rude, but I know you, you are not really rude, you are a nice and kind guy, then why you are trying to act this way", she said to me, she was sounding so upset and I just do not know what the hell I should say to her.

"Look I am sorry, but you know nothing, just stay away from me, okay, I am not what you think", I just made my way from there, I know she was still standing there and looking at me but I did not turn my face to see her, she is so annoying and can not she see that I am older than her, why do not she find someone of her age group, that is really stupid, I made my way to the main hall and I stopped the moment I saw her, she was wearing a red dress and her beautiful eyes were looking so tired and swollen, why does it feel like she was crying, I hating this feeling, the thought of her crying makes me upset and if somehow I am the reason, I just do not know how I will forgive myself for hurting her.

"Ms Ava, I was searching for you since morning, I wanted to tell you something for so long, do you have some minutes for me", a guy was talking to her, looks like he was a fresher, he look like a kid.

"Amm, I am a little busy, can I talk to you later please", she was trying to leave but he stopped her again.

"Ms, ms, please listen to me, I will not take time, it is just two minutes, please miss", he said and I saw she took a deep breath and nodded her head.

"Okay okay fine, tell me what is it", she asked, she was sounding frustrated, I know her so well, she is angry for what happened last night, and there are chances that she is angry with herself for not being able to control what happened.

"Miss, I wanted to tell you that I really like you, you are so pretty miss, you really are so gorgeous like a goddess", he was having a shy smile on his face and he was looking down at the ground like someone will come out from the ground, I saw how her expression got changed and she was so irritated at this moment but she was trying her best to control her anger and the same thing was happening with me too, I was getting angry like hell, how dare him to propose her in front of me, I mean he did not know that I am here but what the hell he thinks of himself, he is still a kid and he is trying to get his teacher, that is really a big move, seems like someone needs a lesson.

"Look, whoever you are, you are a kid and you are here for study, you should focus on your studies, did your parents send you here for all this rubbish, you look like a good student, you should not waste your time in al this, go back to your classroom and study hard for your future", she scolded him and I noticed how sad he got, he was now making a puppy face and it looks like he was gonna cry anytime soon.

"But miss, I really like you, I have a lot of money and I will always keep you happy I promise", he said again and this time I felt that my veins were popping out from my skin and wanna punch him hard on his face and wanna make his nose bleed, and this time I could not control my legs, I made my way towards him and held his collar.

"What the hell, why you are bothering her, huh, seems like you have a death wish", I roared at him and he got scared about what happened all of the sudden.

"Lucas, what the hell you think you are doing here", I know she will yell at me instead of saying anything to him, I did not hear her, I was still holding him by his collar and he was trying to get rid of it but that was not easy for him, he is so small in front of me.

"Miss, please tell him to leave me", he was coughing hard and I just took a deep breath and throw him on the floor.

"Lucas, what the hell you are doing here, I mean how could you come here and does such things, this is my college and I work here, you can not do violence here, I do not allow this", she yelled at me and that guy was looking at me with angry eyes, he was looking scared too but trying to act like he is not getting affected by this.

"Did not you see what he was trying to and you were not even saying anything to him, what the hell he thinks of himself, he is just a kid and look at his actions", I yelled back at her, I know it was not her fault what he did but I could not stand it coz he was just crossing the line.

"Lucas, I have my own ways to handle things, and it is not the first time when a student liked me, it happens and I do not blame them, but I have my way to make them understand that they are wrong, there is no need to being violated, understand that and may I ask why you are here", she asked me but my eyes were fixed on the guy on the floor, just look at his courage, he was still looking at her with love and affection in his eyes, seems like he is really having a death wish here.

"But Ava, that is not the right way to handle such things, you can not be sweet and tackle it, these types of people need slaps and kicks", I said as I was glaring at him with angry eyes and he just got up from the floor and ran away from there and I saw how she took a long deep breath, she needs rest and good sleep, I am sure she would still feeling sour down and having a headache.

"You needed rest, why you are here", I asked her and she just glared at me with angry eyes.

"I am the one who needs to ask why you are here, what the hell do you want from me, I told you to leave me alone, then why you are not leaving me alone", she asked me and I just folded my hands to my chest and glared at her.

"I am here for work, oh, wait, are you thinking that I came here for you, really", I said and I saw how her expression got changed as she looked at me with wide eyes.

"Do you really think that I am a fool Lucas, what kind of work do you have here", she asked me and I just smirked hard at her.

"Mr Lucas, you are here, principal sir is waiting for you in his room, you said you were on the way", the staff member came and said to me and I looked at Ava who was looking at me with wide eyes, she was shocked and somehow confused.

"What are you trying to do here Lucas, why you are here and why principal is calling you", she asked me but there is no way that I am gonna tell her, I just smirked at her and turned my face to the guy who came to call me.

"Tell him that I am coming in just one minute", I said and he nodded his head and walked away I again looked at her as she was waiting for me to reply here.

"Okay then I will see you soon baby, just wait for me", I just tried to walk away but she held my hand and I looked at her with wide eyes.

"Really, you are holding my hand in your college, are you not afraid that someone will see me with you, huh", I asked her and she left my hand the next moment and she just got a little scared.

"Lucas, I just want to tell you that do not do anything stupid please, you know that this job is really important for me and I do not want to lose it", she said and I saw the worry in her eyes and I just did not feel good, why she was saying this, I mean why the hell she thought that why I try to snatch her job and she will lose the job coz of me, I will never do such thing to hurt her.

"How could you even think that I will do something to hurt you, do you really think that low of me", I asked her and she looked down, she was not even looking up, I could see how tired she was, I was feeling like she will fell anytime soon, I just did not say anything else to her, I made my way out from there and soon went to the room of principal, I knocked at the door and walked in.

"Good morning Mr Lucas, I was waiting for you, you called me and asked me to meet me, so here I am, tell me how can I help you", he asked me and at the same time the worker came with two cups of coffee.

"Please have some coffee sir, and tell me what I can do", he offered me coffee and I just took a cup and sipped it.

"Well, I want to increase the salary of Ava", I said and he looked at me with wide eyes.

"What, but why, I am paying enough to her according to her work", he said but when he noticed the anger on my face he just faked a smile.

"I will pay for that, you just have to tell her that you are increasing her salary coz she is doing a great job and also I want you to give her leave too, she is so tired today and her condition is also not well, so just call her and tell her that she can go home, understand", I said to him and this time he was looking at me with wide eyes.

"But sir, I can not do that, we are lack staff and we need her here at the college", he said and now I was glaring at her like I am gonna eat him alive.

"Did not you hear what I said, I said she is not well today, do you know what does that mean, if you lack the staff then tell students to have fun, call her right now and tell her what I said and I already transferred money to your account, so hope you really understand what I said", I put the cup of the coffee on the table and got up from the chair, he also got up to honour me.

"But sir, may I ask what kind of relationship do you have with miss Ava, she did not say that she knows you and you are in touch with her", he asked me and I just thought that I could tell the whole world that she belongs to me.

"You do not need to know that, just keep one thing in your mind that she belongs to me" I just left the room without waiting for his reply, I made my way out from there and started searching for her, I know she did not have her car yet coz I sent her car home just now, so that is obvious that she took a cab for the college, and she is still here, so I should help her, I started searching for her but she was nowhere to see, I just asked a student if he saw her and he told me that she just walked out from the main door, how could she go that fast, I mean he could have called just now and she already walked out, that was pretty fast,

"Please can you bring my car out, I am in some kind of emergency", I gave him the keys to my car as he nodded his head and I also made my way out and soon I just walked out, I saw her walking, but she was looking so lost, she was walking like a dead, I called her name but she did not even look at me, she did not turn her head, she was walking without even seeing the road, cars were running fast and she was not even looking at them and that was not normal, she does not do like this, she is really careful with all these, but today she is behaving totally lost, I just started running coz I saw a car was coming to her way and she is not looking up, I quickly ran to her and pulled her away from there.

"What the f**k you think you are doing Ava, how could you be so careless, huh, can not you see that car was coming to you, what if you get hit by it", I yelled at her and turned her face to me, she did not say anything, her eyes were almost closing and her face was looking so pale, I know she was not fine, I just should not have let her live, I am so stupid and now I am getting so angry coz she is not fine coz of me, her eyes were staring at my face for some second and in the very next second her eyes got closed as she fainted in my arms and I just pulled her close to my chest and hugged her tight. she would be feeling so weak, I should have made her eat some healthy food instead of letting her go, I just picked her in my arms and made my way to my car, soon I reached there and he was already standing there and waiting for me, he opened the back door for me and I slowly make her lay inside.

"Thank you so much buddy for the help", he smiled at me and I qucikly jumped on the driving seat and quickly made my way to my home, I do not know where does she lives, I did not open the file of her yet, so I just have to take her back at my place, I know she does not want to go there but I do not think that she or I have any other option right now, I know that she will get angry when she will open her eyes but I know I can handle that too but for now she needs rest, so I can not leave her here, so I quickly made my way home and soon I reached there and opened the door and made my way to my room, she was looking like an angel while sleeping but if she will wake up, she will eat me alive, I slowly made her sleep on the bed and removed her sandals, I saw that she was sweating, so I just had to removed her jacket, I just increased the level of ac and made her cover with quilt and I just closed the door and walked out from the room, I know she will be hungry when she will wake up, so now it is the time for cooking, I will make something tasty and healthy for her, I still remember how much she loves while cook for her, she loves this food so much so I am willing to cook for her, I am willing to do anything for her, so I just looked at her sleeping figure one last time before leaving from there and made my way to the kitchen.

I remember how much she likes the pasta I used to make, so I quickly boiled pasta and made sauce, I started chopping veggies and then in the ten minutes the pasta was ready, then I started making veg sandwiches for her, she likes them so much with a great cold coffee, there is no way that I can forget her favorite dishes, so I know that she will love this only if she will eat it or else I know her anger these days, she will not even touch this food if she will know that I made this for her, she is so changed like hell and I can not stand it, I can not see her like this, her coldness is killing me, I just want my soft Ava back no mtter what, in one hour I was free, I made everything I thought she likes, now I am just waiting for her to wake up, I quickly made my way back to her, I slolwy opened the door so that she wil not get disturb with the sound of the door, I just do not know what to do, I am just getting so excited to see her like that, she was sleeping so peacefully, I just want to pull her into my arms and slolwy care her hair and placed some soft kisses on her head and when she openes her eyes, I want to pull her into a long kiss until she gets out of breath, but there is no way that she will let me touch her when she will open her eyes at this time, so I just sat beside her and I was just seeing her sleeping, at this moment this is the best scenery of the world.

Ava's Point Of View,

I was feeling a little bad for mom coz she really wanted me to get a vacation, she knows that I am so tired, tired of this stupid routine, I love Luke and I love my mom too, but this routine is just sucking me off, I really need a vacation but I can not afford that right now, I know my mom is willing to handle all the expenses for me, but I do not want to be a burden on her, so I can not leave my job, there are chances that they will kick me out of the college if I asked for a vacation leave, coz of Luke I already took a lot of leaves so that is not a great idea, so I did not ask for leave, I just got ready for the college and leave, I did not even get a chance to eat something while my stomach was already aching, I know mom is upset and I did not want to bother her, so I just made my way out and cursed under my breath coz my car is also not here, I just forget my car at the bar the last day, how the hell I could be so stupid.
