Harold came home. Hannah greeted him and asked him about his day. To which he said, “Honey, I can’t tell you what happened today.”
Hanna confusedly looked at him and said, “It’s okay honey, maybe you could tell me later.” Hanna understood him. She and Harold before coming to this base had faced a lot of rollercoaster moments, had gone for shopping the commissary groceries on different bases, and also traveled to other places and met cultures other than theirs. Their family had to adapt to different areas and surroundings.
This military base was more advanced, but the same formula of adaption applied. Hanna was learning the new schedules of her family. Her job was to support her children and stand by Harold through thick and thin.
