I finally had the courage to talk to her, she looked so innocent sitting there studying. She so gorgeous I can’t take my eyes away from her, the other day when I first saw her, I knew it was the fated mate bond that I felt towards her. But she isn’t a wolf, she has no sent of a wolf on her. I don’t understand, I know there some type of magical power in her but it’s faint. Something is blocking it, but I know something sparked in her. I can sense it, I need to get to know her. I need to know... my mate! I can’t believe she is my mate, I came to this town for business only. Now I can’t leave without her, she needs to come with me. I need to text her real quick, she did leave without saying good bye.

“How’s class?” I hope she text me soon.

“Boring, it’s customer service class” she actually text me back, my heart is racing.

“Are you learning anything?” I respond to her.

“Yeah, did you know customers are always right even if they’re not right.” She respond. I know she’s being sarcastic.

“Hey if you want their money, you got to suck up to them” I replied trying to sound playful.

“So do you have a special place in mind for lunch today?” I need to know what kind of power she has. Maybe I can help her free that power, I am wondering if she knows about this hidden power inside her?

“I like this small shack next to the mountain trails, they have the best salmon salad in town.” She text me. I’ll trust her judgment, I’m not from this town. I actually should of went home yesterday, but I couldn’t. Not until Annayees agrees to go with me, and I’ll make sure she goes home with me.

“O.K. sounds good, what time is your class over?” I text her.

“ Ten” She respond. She has a two hour class, that’s a waste of time.

“I’ll be parked in front of the campus waiting for you” I text her. My heart is racing after that text, I wonder if she knows I am a wolf? I guess I’ll find out.

“O.K. I’ll see you soon” I text her. Need to go change she said by the mountain trails, we might go for a walk I should put on some comfortable shoes. After I switched my shoes I looked at my phone to check the time I see a text, it wasn’t from Annayees. It’s my mother, I open the text message.

“When are you coming home? Sophia has been asking about you” She text me. Sophia is the girl my mother is trying to marry me off to. She the daughter of Max Vanzino he’s alpha of the dragon stone clan, my mom is trying to unite our clans together. She believes is better business, I am annoyed that my father gave her a share of his company. Now my mother is always around and getting annoying with all this marriage to Sophia s**t. I love my mother but she’s driving me crazy.

“ I got some stuff to take care of first before heading home. And I told you I don’t want anything to do with Sophia” I text her. She is attractive but I never was interested in her. Especially now that I have found my mate, I will never look at another woman again.

“ I thought you have closed the deal with the business associates?” She text me. She is relentless, I can’t tell her I found my mate. Not yet anyways, I need to know how Annayees feels about me.

“The deal is closed we have the partnership, now I will like to take some time off. I’ll be home soon. Love you mom” I text her. I put my phone away I hear the text messages I looked real quick just to check if it was Annayees, it wasn’t it’s my mom. I ignored her text, I need to go I don’t want to be late. The hotel I am staying at is a twenty minute drive to her college campus. I made sure I had everything I needed before heading out the door. Took the elevator down to the lobby and try to go straight out the front door.

“Have a good day Mr. Castello” I hear the receptionist say. I looked up and nod at her with a smile, I can see her blushing. I looked away and head straight out to my car, I have called from my room and asked them to get it ready for me before heading out. I have a two thousand nineteen Audi RS 5 a luxury sports car, one day I’ll up grade. Just that the process of buying a new car sucks, it’s boring and takes forever. I got into my running car and pulled out the driveway, I started to think if I was really ready to introduce her to my life. Would she really want to marry the alpha of the blue moon clan, or would she reject me? I don’t know if I will let her reject me. As I pulled up in front of the campus waiting for her, I quickly send her a text to let her know I am here waiting on her.

“Hey gorgeous, I am patiently waiting for you out front”

“O.K. See you soon” She responds. She doesn’t seem nervous, but I know I make her body burn for me. Just like my body burns for her. She is about to get out of class, I should wait outside for her so I can open her door. I get out of the car and walked in front of the car to reach the passenger side, I see a lot of students coming out. A lot of stares, especially from the ladies. Sorry girls my interest is Annayees and only her, I smile just thinking about that. She’s going to be all mine. I see her walking towards me, my heart begins to race. My wolf wants to jump out and have her in front of every body, I can’t let that happen. He might freak her out.

“Hey gorgeous, I miss seeing that beautiful smile of yours” I tell her with hunger in my voice. She’s blushing and is looking down, is she really this shy?

“Um Hi, are you ready to go I am starving” O.K. she’s not shy at all, she’s very bold. But I can make her blush, nice. I open the door for her and let her in the car, I closed it after I seen she gotten all the way in. I walked behind the car to get to the driver side and got in, I started the car and stared at Annayees. She so damn beautiful, I can’t believe she is my mate. A gorgeous woman like her.

“Why you still staring at me?” she asked, s**t say something dummy.

“ you’re just so damn pretty, so where am I going beautiful?” I have no idea where I am going.

“Do you have GPS?” She’s looking at my dashboard.

“Yeah, would you like to put in the address?” I tell her. I normally don’t let anyone touch my radio or my GPS, but for her I’ll do anything. I can see her hand shaking when she’s typing the address into the GPS, I better make a move today. Otherwise I’ll lose the opportunity, she finished typing the address. I took off to the place the GPS is leading me to, she really did mean mountain. While we are driving up to the mountain trails parking area, I thought to myself why I haven’t noticed these mountains. I’ve been here for a week now, not once notice these beautiful mountains. As I pull up to a parking spot to park, I look at Annayees and she looked back at me.

“Are you ready?” I ask her with a smile on my face, I can’t believe she actually agreed to come to lunch with me.

“Yeah of course, are you ready?” She has her right eyebrow lifted. I wonder what she is thinking.

“Oh you have no idea how ready I am” if she likes flirtatious games I’ll play.

“Come on let’s go eat, like I said I am starving” she opened the car door and got out and I followed. I see her waiting for me to follow her up a trail from the left of us, there is a sign next to the trail. It reads “ Fantastic Sams Salmon Shack”, they must be famous for their salmon. As we walked up the trail to the shack I noticed we were walking in silence. Can’t get to know her if we don’t talk, I wish I can reach out to her and hold her hand.

“ so do you come out here often?” I had to break the silence.

“I use to a few months back, I am now on my last semester so I stopped working out just to concentrate on my studies and I picked up more hours at work too. So I can save up as much as I can to move out of the house” So she still lives at home but she wants to leave, it’s going to make it a little easier to convince her to leave with me. It also sounds like she loves to work out, if she’s working out up in these mountains she must be some type of warrior.

“Do you miss it?” She seemed sad and I don’t want her sad. She needs to be happy, especially when she’s with me.

“ Definitely do, the mountains is my happy place. I would come up her for a run or a walk just to escape my....” she stop talking, she doesn’t want to tell me something. Why? Please Annayees I want to help you, I want to save you from what you’re running from. I give her a curious look, I want to know.

“My stressful life” she’s trying to give me a fake smile. I could not help myself anymore, I reached for her right hand and stopped us from walking. I felt the most amazing feeling when I looked inside her beautiful hazel eyes. I see my Luna, I see the love of my life. I see she looks confused.

“Listen Annayees I know you’re hiding something from me, but I also know that you feel the same bond I feel towards you. I want you to trust me, I need you to trust me.” My wolf wants me to take her now here in the mountains. Just thinking about it is my d$&k rise, s**t I don’t need to scare her off. I need to control myself.

“ Look I don’t know what I am feeling, it’s confusing the f$&k out me. I know I want you, but I am scared. Give me some time, that’s all I am asking” she looks a little pissed off, she looks cute pissed off. It brings me a smile to my face.

“I’ll give you all the time in the world, you mean everything to me” I tell her, f$&k I am going to scare her off with that romantic s**t. I think she noticed I kind of regretted it, because she laughed and gently caress my right arm. What the f$&k that turned me on, this mating bond ain’t no joke. I gave her a smile but I know she noticed my hunger for her. My wolf wants her now.

“We should get going, you’re starving remember” I winked at her, I made her blush. It brought me joy that she blushes for me. As I grab her hand and we walk up the trail to the shack holding hands. She makes my heart go crazy for her, I barely know this woman and I feel like I have known her my entire life. We made to the shack only took fifteen minutes to get there and small shack with a big sigh on top of the order window that said “Fantastic Sams” with a salmon under the lettering. We walk up to the order window I glanced through the menu they have posted next to the order window. Basically everything has salmon on it, a few chicken dishes but mostly salmon. We’re up next there was a couple in front of us. As we move forward.

“ Hey Annnayees! How you been?” I hear the cashier say to Annayees, I looked at her she has this smile that she has known this guy for a while now.

“ Hey Sam, I’ve been better. How you been old man?” Yeah she seem to known him for a while, Sam must be the owner. He a older man, around his sixties. He looks like an hardcore fisherman, he’s wearing those typical plaid bottom up shirt, granted I only see his top half I bet he has his fisherman waterproof pants and boots. He smelled like wolf, but a retired wolf.

“ I’ve been good, miss seeing you around here. How’s school going? Almost finished?” Sam looks considered.

“ School is great, passing all my classes like always. I am almost done, and I promise I’ll be back around often after my finals.” Annayees giving Sam a smile but she had sad eyes. I wish I known what she was thinking about.

“ Sam this is my friend Lizandro” Annayees introduced me. I went up to him to shake his hand “nice to meet you sir” his grip is strong. He seem to be a respectable man and some what importance to Annayees, he smells like he has some alpha traits.

“ Nice to meet you too son, take good care of Annayees for me” it sounded like it was an order.

“ Of course sir, I’ll protect her until my last breath” I answer him.

“ Good, will you like your usual Annayees?” I looked over to Annayees to sea her respond to Sam, she looked in shock like she just witnessed two men actually wants to protect her.

“Um yeah the usual, thanks Sam” she is give him a loving smile like you would give to your grandparents.

“How about you son” Sam turned to look at me.

“ I’ll have the same and two bottles of water please.” I paid and followed Annayees to a picnic table. While we wait for our food.

“How long have you known Sam?” I asked her.

“For a while back when my mom was still a live, she would bring me up here all the time. She loved this place and loved Sam like a father, they would always talk like they have always had known each other even before I was born.” I wonder if he knows something Annayees doesn’t know?

“ I am sorry to hear about your mother, seems you two were close” I need to change the subject she looks sad like she’s lost in thought in the past.

“ So what you like to do for fun?” It seem to break her train of thought. I can tell she misses her mother.

“ Mostly work out when not working out dancing anything that challenges my body and mind” she says proudly. She’s going to be fun to challenge.

“Annayees your order is ready” we hear Sam shout out her name.

“ I’ll get it, sit here” I don’t want any of these guys staring at her more than they already are, bastards she’s mine.

“ Thanks Sam” I tell him once I reach the window.

“ Hey Lizandro” I paused mid turn and looked back to Sam.

“ Annayees doesn’t know this but her life is in danger, her mother was murder years ago and was made it look like an accident” I am confused, in one way I am happy to know what is going on and I know how to protect her but why do they want to hurt my innocent Annayees?

“ What are you talking about? Who killed her mother? Why are they after Annayees?” I ask Sam with a confused look.

“ Her mother was a powerful witch, she was very known in the supernatural realm. But one day thirty years back, there was this evil alpha name Alexis Black that wanted her for his own. To in slave her for her magic, she tried her best to fight him and his pack off for a while but every year he seemed to have more members in his pack. She had to flee the only way to block her smell was to marry a human. Unfortunately she picked the wrong human, but she was happy to have her daughter. She never planned on children especially from a human, but she had no other choice she was I hiding. When Annayees mother was killed he power was transferred to Annayees.” He tells me with intense pain in his eyes. He pauses for a second.

“Annayees is now one of the powerful witches and she has no idea, her mother put a spell on her daughter to keep from Annayees power go wild. So the alpha can’t sniff her out. The spell was set to be broken by her mother or Annayees mate. You are about to unlock her power and you need to know about so you can be ready to protect her.” Alexis Black I have heard of that man, he’s bad news, he only cares about himself.

“ what is her mother’s name?” I need to know more so I can start doing research.

“Ana Marie” My eyes widen, I know her my family use to do business with her. She was a very powerful witch and was very sweet. Sam reached and hand me a piece a paper.

“This is my number, call me as soon as you convince her to leave with you” I look at him surprised.

“ How did you know I was wanted take her with me?” I ask him confused.

“ She’s your mate isn’t she” I nodded at him.

“ Now go before she gets up and comes towards us she’s very impatient” I just smiled at him. “One more thing, she is very strong so don’t ever doubt her availability” with those last words I walk towards Annayees and put down her food in front of her and took my seat. That man got my head filled with information, now I definitely need to convince her to go with me.
