Prologue “I, Angel Wilson omega of Sunshine pack reject you, Vincent Miller, omega of Dark Moon Pack as my mate” I said the words with heavy heart. But I didn’t feel the pain of our bond breaking, about which I have heard since my childhood. I heard it is very painful that it can even kill a weak wolf, then why am I not feeling it? I came out of my thoughts with his deep voice, “May I know the reason for this rejection?” he asked with a raised brow. Of course he must be curious as to why I am rejecting him, my own fated mate. “You are an omega” I replied calmly though a storm wants to break inside my heart. “So you are, I don’t get the reason for rejection” he said. I took a deep breath and gathered my courage to say the painful words, which will hurt him. “Yes I am an omega but my father is an Alpha. I am sure someone like you won’t be able to give me a luxurious life like my father” I said. I can't tell him the real reason, that I am cursed. I saw hurt flash in his mesmerizing forest green eyes but he hid it instantly. “Is that the only reason you are rejecting me?” he asked me. He tried hard to hid the pain but I sensed it in his voice, he is hurt because of me. But along with hurt I sensed anger as well. “Yes” I replied firmly. Tears wants to fall down from my eyes but I will not let them fall, at least not in front of him. “I won’t accept your rejection” he said and came closer to me. I took a step back but he held my waist and pulled me closer to him. My heart started beating fast because of the proximity. “let me…” I couldn’t complete as my breath hitched when his soft lips touched the spot where he will mark me. “you are mine” he said looking directly in my eyes. “I rejected.. you” I said. I wasn’t planning on stuttering but his closeness is making me and my wolf crazy. He chuckled dangerously upon hearing my words. His eyes turned a shade darker. He leaned closer to my ear and whispered huskily, “A lowlife omega like you can’t reject me”. He bit on my earlobe lightly, I had to bit my tongue to stop from moaning. I am sure my face must have turned red. He pulled away and smirked looking at my flushed face. “see you again, mate” he said and walked past me while bumping to my shoulder intentionally. But I hope we never meet again. When I was sure that he left, I let my tears roll down from my eyes. I fell on my knees as I lose my strength to keep standing. I never wanted to meet my mate. Because I knew, I will have to reject him. Though I didn’t feel the pain of rejection, maybe because he didn’t accept it, still my heart is hurting badly.
