~ALISTAIR~ I look at the clock on the wall for the umpteenth time and sigh loudly. I'm anxious. The alcohol in my system only seems to worsen things. Damn good day they had chosen to rebel and satisfy their curiosity. Now I might lose three kids and my best friend. It has been too long. She is taking too long and I'm not sure if I can keep waiting. As far as I know and as long as I have been here, no one has managed to find out the secret about this door. I have only read it in stories— scary ones at that. The thought of losing your mind slowly as your power gets sucked out of you doesn't sound like the kind of death to long for. It's definitely not how I imagine Roman going down because I'd rather kill him myself with my own hands. This was stupid. The stupidest he has been for years.
