The air around the store hangs around me leaving a weird feeling on my skin. My senses heighten as I walk around moving deeper into the store. Maybe I should have gone back with Tucker but something pushes me to keep going. It's like a pull I can't fight even though it leaves me wary. I have a feeling that I might be walking into danger but I have never been one to cower easily.
I get to the end of the store and my wolf shifts uncomfortably within me. Nothing seems out of the ordinary except for my racing heart. My heartbeats are completely off rhythm and if I am not careful, my wolf might overpower me and take over right here. I make up my mind to leave but just as I am about to turn, the calling bell above the door rings.
