I watch him walk off towards Brooke with a smile. It lasts longer until I turn and find Alistair watching me. Her face is unreadable although it is one of those she always has whenever she is about to discuss something serious.
"Walk with me," she states simply and starts to lead the way further from the others.
"Okay," I nod and follow in silence.
We walk for a while until we get to the far end of the field. I turn for a moment and see the others practicing drills, Brooke pushing Roman and Tucker through high jumps, running, and strength. Sage and Cali focus on Sage's ability to do things without having to raise a hand or speak.
At least that's what I think their training is all about. Alistair is yet to mention what I'm supposed to do.
"You talked to your parents, right?"
