Terrell
It had taken hours before his computer had pinged with a hit on Ava’s DNA. Her given name had been Makinsey Brooke. Terrell mulled her name over several times. To him she was Ava. If once he got done with her past she wanted to begin using her given name again, he would honor her wishes, but he found himself hoping otherwise.
Once he had her prior address, he had been able to hack into the local sheriff’s departments records. He had figured that searching back through years of unsolved rape cases would have taken him days, but as luck would have it, there hadn’t been that many. Terrell couldn’t tell if that was a good or bad thing. It meant they either solved the majority of them, or the women weren’t reporting them.
