Terrell
Terrell took a drink of his coffee while he waited for his laptop to boot up. He could hear the sounds of Ava’s bowls and tools banging and clanging about. The sounds put him at ease. Once his laptop was ready, he hacked into the traffic camera feed from the police department and made his way to the cameras closet to Ava’s shop. Then he went back a week to see if anything would catch his eye.
Terrell didn’t begrudge the task ahead of him. If there was a threat to Ava, he wanted to annihilate it. The footage rolled on at an accelerated pace, causing him to have to watch the footage closely so he didn’t miss anything. An hour passed before he got his first glimpse of a man going into the café entirely too late in the day. Something about the man seemed off.
