In June of 1850 Clarence George died. He had gotten his wife pregnant again days before. It was an accident while hunting that brought him to his end. He was with some other men, going through heavy brush when the trigger was accidentally snagged by a tree. There was no hospital or doctor to go to from where he fell. The locals helped her bury him at the edge of the land he had cleared. Once upon a time there was a woman and her children living in a box, but it wasn't much of a faerie story.
