The Rooms

There I was, in a mysterious room, slowly being filled up with a mysterious gas. What did I do to deserve this? All of a sudden, a voice plays over the intercoms. “ You are here to survive a bunch of challenges” it says. Is this some kind of joke? I wake up in a crack den that is worse than my old blood-covered apartment. And how did I get here anyway? There’s no way anyone could get me here without waking me up.  “You damn nut case” I shouted. “Give me my scythe so I can bust out of this room”. a soft voice responded calmly. “Now now, that wouldn’t be fun at all, this is a game, not a murder fest” it says. “You think I give a f**k, I’m completing this s**t and cutting your head off” i shout in response. “Well, before you do that, I would like you to fulfill one wish for me, if you do get that far that is” it says. “But since most people don’t make it past this first challenge I'd say I'm safe. You see, the gas that’s filling up the room right now will kill you in exactly an hour from now. You need to use your surroundings to escape, good luck” it says in an evil tone. I looked around and saw 4 decaying bodies. I saw a glass cage, a shotgun and a key in the cage. It's obvious I must pull the key out to get out of the room, but the shotgun prevents me from doing that. “What in the f**k… you know you aren’t supposed to recreate the saw movie traps right, these are easy as f**k to get out of” I scream into the camera. I walked behind the glass case, seeing that, indeed, they didn’t put the entire shotgun in the case. “ You even created it wrong” followed up with my last statement. I opened the shotgun, preventing the trigger from being pulled, took the key and opened the door. I can’t believe people died because of that. My victims usually aren’t that dumb. The next room I enter is more like a hallway. “ Oh, great, the odds of my dream coming true have increased,” the voice says. “ You have got a choice to. See the 4 doors, engraved on them a symbol, you get to choose which challenge you want to do. Good luck”. The 1st door has a snake engraved on it, being that my fear is snakes, they definitely made this room intended for me. The 2nd door has a gas mask on it, that definitely would make me go back to 1940’s Germany. The 3rd door has a question mark on it. It seems that one is a mystery. I don’t know what it is about, but I’m slightly attracted to that option. The 4th door has a lightning bolt on it, that challenge has to do with electricity probably. “Well, standing around won’t get me anywhere, but which door should I take?” I mumbled to myself. I decided to go through the door with the question mark on it. I open the door, take one step forward, and fall into some sort of slide.
