Stolen Moments

Tau's POV
Falling on the bed, with Jewel and kissing her was like a dream. Laying on the bed with her had everything raging inside me. I had been pretty good about keeping my hands to myself. But, damn if she didn't make it hard, pun intended. I am leaning up against the headboard on her bed, she is straddling me with her arms around me. We kissed a while and when we got here, I could feel her nerves. So we have been just sitting like this. I won't ask her to do anything she isn't comfortable with.
"I am sorry," she mumbled into my chest.
I took one of my fingers to lift her chin. "Why are you sorry?" I asked. I couldn't imagine what it could be.
"For not..." She waved her arm at me and the bed. Followed by hiding her face as her ears went tomato red.
"I am not going to push anything." I pulled her close lifting her chin to place playful kisses all over her face. "I will not do anything you don't want."
She giggled and shimmed in my lap as I gave her those kisses. She lifted and started to fall back on the bed, in some of her cute awkwardness. I knew she wasn't ready, I could wait. It would suck but I could wait.
Her laugh turned into a blush as she looked down at my lap. Leaping off she blushed again redder. As she stammered a shy "sorry."
"There is no need to be sorry, he has a mind of his own." I shrugged getting up and adjusting it out of sight.
"I have never had a boyfriend or anything." Jewel lowered her head more in shame.
I scooped her up in my arms, crushing her to my chest. "How about we have our first date tonight?" I ask, nerves a little bit but I am hopeful she says yes.
"I have never done that either." Jewel groans against my chest. Thumping her head on my chest, though I am not sure why.
"Well how about we do it and see what you think?" I chuckle pulling her back a little so I can see what her face is saying. She is just massively red with a tomato blush.
"A date?" She looks up, at me with eagerness.
"Yes a date, we are not doing anything you are ready for." I kiss her forehead. "I will need to leave for a bit to get things set up if you are ok with that?" I raise my brow at her.
Her eyes got wide, "a date for tonight?" She breathed a little with surprise.
"Of course, I want to treat you like the Queen you are," I pulled her close to me. Kissing the top of her head, "you want to have a date night with me?" I asked, her reaction had me a little unsure of myself now.
"Yes, yes I do!" She squealed. I could see all sorts of happy emotions running through her eyes.
"Good, I am going to step out make some calls, and then let you know what time this evening." I grinned back at her. She had me worried for a moment.
"Ok," a wave of nervousness washed over her. I could see it all over her face.
"Why so nervous?" I leaned down near her ear to ask.
"Are we going to? You know?" Her words are soft with a hint of nervous flare.
"We are not doing anything more than what you are comfortable with." I kissed her forehead again. Placing both my hands on her face, I kissed her nose then and followed it up with one in her lips.
"Have you ever been on a date?" She looked up at me to ask.
"Once or twice. They sucked. So I stopped. Back when Ryder wanted me to be his wingman for his conquests." I shivered. I had wanted nothing to do with any of it.
"Is this one gonna suck?" I could see she was nervous again.
I chuckled, "I hope not." I looked into her beautiful baby browns, "I want to go on one with you. The fact is anything we do is awesome. This should be even better." I kissed her forehead, I just loved kissing her didn't matter where.
"look," she looked around her room, "I guess, I will take a shower and ask the girls what I should wear." There was a hint of a grin and a sparkle of mischief to her eye. Yeah, this is the Jewel I love to see.
"That sounds perfect," I kissed her again just because I couldn't stop myself. Once the kisses started, I just can't seem to hold them back. "I will be back in just a bit, to check in on you." One more kiss for the road. I left the room, heading to Hawks' room I knocked on the door.
He opened it up, "What's up?"
"I want to take your sister on a date tonight. You mind keeping an ear out for her?" I asked.
"Of course not, where are you gonna take her?" He leaned against the doorframe.
"I was thinking of an outdoor dinner and maybe some dancing under the stars?" It was something I always wanted to do.
"I think she will like it." Hawk grinned. "Go get your plans done, I will keep an ear out for her." He nodded then stood off the doorframe.
"Thank you!" I headed down to the kitchens first. Then it was off to find a spot that would be perfect and finish with music. Plus at some point, I wanted to clean up and get some flowers for her too. On her first date, I needed to do this romantic and right.

Jewel's POV

OMG!! I am having my first date tonight with Tau!! What do I wear? I need to get Lory and Tiffany up here. First I need a take a shower. My room feels empty without Tau. I don't like it.
Lory, can you bring Tiffany up here in about 20 minutes? I mind link her.
Of course, what are we doing? She asked back.
Tau just asked me about a date tonight and I need help getting ready. I have never done this before. I am pretty sure she felt my nervousness through the link.
Of course! Yay!! We will be by shortly. I feel her happiness in the link.
That boosted me with less fear. If it was new and my training didn't help. That scared little girl came back full force. I needed to get a handle on it till the girls showed up. That way I could ask them questions. About how to act on a date. I have never been to one.
