11. One Condition.

  Hello!

" I still think you shouldn't go with him " Okay,  not again!

"And I still wanna know why would you think that? " I asked turning from the mirror to her.

Since the time I've told her that I'm going shopping with Ranbir,  she's continuously ranting about how bad this idea is, and I'm asking her the same question,  that why does she thinks so?  It's not like I'm going on a date with him,  it's just that he has a good taste in clothes and style so he's gonna help me get my dress,  he is just accompanying me to the mall that's it.  I don't know why Any is so against this idea.

"It's just that,  I don't know,  I just don't like him,  he's a bad news Sanny,  and I want you to stay away from him." She answered coming closer to me. The look on her face reflected care and love for me,  which made me smile.

"Aww Any,  you don't have to worry about me. You know me well right?  You should be worried about him not me. " I told her flipping my hair. She chuckled at this and hugged me.

"You know how much I love you right? " she asked me caressing my hair like an elder sister. She's the elder sister I never got.

"I know and I love you too " I replied and we broke our hug. She looked at me with admiration clear in her eyes. I like it when Any gets emotional,  that's really rare.

"So how do I look? " I asked her.

               Sanyukta's attire.

"Hot " Any said now looking at me and we both chuckled.

My phone beeped and I looked at it to find a message from Ranbir.

Ready Sunshine? I'm waiting for you outside your hostel. Come fast.

I shook my head at his message and after chipping a "bye" to Any and taking my wallet and cell phone, I headed outside.

As I came out of the hostel I found Ranbir standing leaning on a tree looking here and there. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt and a leather jacket on top of it, complementing his faded jeans. His hair were messy making him look sexy and the little stubble on his face was just the cherry on top. All in all he looked hot.

His attention was still not on me which saved me from the embarrassment of getting caught staring at him. I made my way towards him but a hand caught my wrist causing me to look at my other side.

With a confused and somewhat impressed look on his face,  Arjun was standing there. He looked at me from top to bottom and then straight into my eyes.

"Where are you going? " He asked looking at me with some thing like protectiveness or possessiveness,  I don't really know.

"Oh,  it's good that you came. Any is alone inside,  she must be getting bored, now she'll get a company. " I told him trying to avoid answering his question. Cause I know that if he'll get to know that I'm going with Ranbir,  he too will start his lectures and I don't wanna create any scene here,  and especially when Ranbir is here as well,  this may lead to a fight,  you never know. Boys, I tell you!

"I asked where are you going? " He asked again with a kind of authority in his voice. It told me that now I'll have to tell him.  I sighed knowing that I'm left with no other option but to tell him but wait,  I can just tell him I'm going shopping and don't mention Ranbir,  may be this will work. 

"I'm going shopping,  for Ritvik's party " I told him smiling sheepishly at him and he nodded.

"Okay I'll take you. " he said releasing my wrist and holding my hand. I was about to stop him when something I was fearing,  happened.

"I'm taking her. " I heard Ranbir say and closed my eyes sighing. Okay!

"Yeah,  and she'll go with you " Arjun said in a mocking voice with a smirk on his face.

"She is going with me. Right Sunshine? " Ranbir asked me smirking at Arjun.

I looked up at Arjun smiling nervously at him and then at Ranbir,  nodding slowing.

"No. " Arjun ordered. No one,  and I mean no one orders Sanyukta Agrawal. How dare he?

I glared at him and he glared back I could see Ranbir smirking from the corner of my eyes.

"You are not going with him Sanyukta. " Arjun ordered again.

"I am going with him. You have a problem? " I asked him in a sassy tone. Sassy mode on!

"Yes I do have a problem. I won't allow you to go anywhere with a guy like him. " He said strictly. What does he thinks of himself?  I'll go with whomever I wish to go.

"And who asked your allowance? " I asked him snatching my hand from his and crossing my arms.

"And what do you mean by a guy like him? You're the same. " I accused him angrily. May be I shouldn't have said that coz he looked really hurt.

"But I will never hurt you. " He said in a hurt voice and I felt really bad for hurting him this much.

"Neither will I " We heard Ranbir speaking and glared at him.

"Shut up " "Shut up " Me and Arjun said at the same time.

"Don't interrupt when we are talking. " I told him and he looked offended but didn't said anything. I don't care as long as he keeps his mouth shut,  cause Arjun is more important to me right now and I can never tolerate someone else interrupting my conversation/argument with my friends.

"Listen,  I'm sorry. " I apologized hugging Arjun.

"I shouldn't have said that but you know I don't like it when someone tries to control me,  I just hate it,  I'm sorry. " I explained still hugging him.

"It's okay,  I'm also at fault,  I'm sorry but I really don't want you to go with him you know." he whispered in my ears.

"But I have promised him,  so I'll have to go with him,  and it can't be that bad now,  let me try. " I whispered back still in his arms.

"Fine,  go then but next time I'm taking you. " He said and I nodded,  though he can't see me nodding but he could feel it right?

"Bye then" I said detaching myself from him.

"See ya" he said pecking my cheeks and went inside the hostel.

"Can I speak now? " Ranbir asked in a mocking tone and I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm sorry okay " I said looking away.

"I just wanna tell you something Sanyukta,  if you want respect,  you must know how to give it to others as well. " He said walking away. I sighed,  God! I've been a b!!ch to him as well. I need to apologize,  he's right,  if I want respect,  I must give it as well.

I ran behind him to catch up with him , as he was walking very fast.

"I'm sorry Ranbir,  I'm really very sorry. " I apologised but he paid no attention.

As we reached to his car,  he opened the passenger seat for me without speaking a word and I slid in. Then he sat on the drivers seat and started driving.

"I know I was rude,  really rude to you but I have no control on myself when I'm mad. You know,  Any didn't wanted me to come with you and I knew that Arjun would oppose it as well,  and so as my other friends ,so I didn't wanted to tell them that I'm going with you. My friends are quite protective over me and honestly I don't have a problem with it but I hate it when someone tries to boss me around. And when Arjun did that I lost my temper and compared him with you. I mean don't take me wrong but you know right that your image is of a heart breaker,  a bad guy,  my friends think the same about you and I completely agree with them,  I know even Arjun is like that but he can never harm me,  neither let anyone else do that,  so it was really an offending thing for him,  and I understood it immediately. I was about to apologize when you interrupted and I lashed out on you. I mean,  even you have your best friends,  tell me would you ever want me to interrupt between you guys?  No right,  that's the case with me as well,  I just can't tolerate people coming between me and my friends coz they are really important to me. And honestly I didn't care about you at that time but now as I've realised how wrong I did,  I'm really ashamed of myself. I'm really sorry Ranbir,  I promise this won't happen again. " I said in a go breathing heavily. Ranbir stopped the car in the side of the road. He took a sealed bottle of water from the backside and offered it to me. I took it and drank some water and then gave it back to him.

"Thank you " I thanked him and he looked at me like I was the most interesting creature in this whole universe.

"How can you be so cute? " He asked and I couldn't believe my ears.

"Pardon me " I said confused and he chuckled at me.

"I said,  how can you be so cute? " He repeated, this time pinching my nose, with a smile on his face.

"After what all I said,  you just wanna say this? " I asked him in disbelief and he chuckled again. There's something seriously wrong with this guy!

"You look so cute when you speak like this,  nonstop. You're nose becomes pink and so as your cheeks and your expressions,  God,  they are just out of the world,  the faces you were making while explaining,  you looked like a five year old, Sunshine." He said laughing and my mouth formed 'o' shape.

He was laughing really hard by now and I couldn't help but admire his Godly features,  his perfect face looked even more perfect while laughing,  he should laugh often,  his eyes were teary by now due to the hearty laugh he was having,  though he was laughing at me but I didn't felt bad, instead his laugh was so contagious that I felt myself laughing as well.

"So, am I forgiven?" I asked him.

"Not so easy,  Sunshine. I'll forgive you on one condition. " He said with an evil smirk on his face.

Okay so should I take it as a danger sign?

"And what's that? " I asked frowning. I was getting nervous,  even I don't know why.
