Forgotten

Chapter Fourteen

Vanessa POV (Amelia)

Daniel suddenly told me yesterday that he wanted to hangout with my friends and his friends, I've also made two other friends. Jennifer but she prefers to be called Jenny and Rose. They are really nice, Elizabeth and Jenny really get along while Elizabeth and Rose are always on each other's neck.

It's bearable since they haven't tried to kill each other yet. Rose is Josh's girlfriend, Josh is one of Daniel's friends.

Blake and my group of friends have gotten closer, we hang out together most times also miss angry bird sometimes complain but she's actually a nice somebody, Jenny is actually the angry bird. She gets angry easily and over useless things if you ask me, she's also a cheerleader I don't really know what they do in there practice since I'm not interested in their activities. 

After school ended we all went home with the agreement of meeting up at the park by 4pm in the evening.

I went home with Veronica and Victoria since they were also invited, apparently Victoria is Daniel's girlfriend. I was actually surprised when I found out, Victoria doesn't look like someone who would date older guys.

We got home around 2:40pm, I went to my room since I have my own personal room now, the storage was cleared out for me. On getting to my room, I quickly browsed my closet for clothes to wear for the outing and I settled with a red turtle neck crop top with a high waist black jean. Although I hate colours that stands out, they look best on me.

I went into the bathroom, took a quick shower and dressed up, I also did a little make up (not really a fan of make-up) which includes mascara, foundation, powder and a little lipgloss. After I was sure that I was okay, I called Ryder to ask if he was also ready since he will be the one picking us up. I've been in touch with Ryder since I left Tyler's place and he did a great job in helping me remember things from the past, and I'm really grateful for that.

I called Ryder and he told me he would be here in the next 10 minutes, I went into the girl's room and told them Ryder's message. We were all ready except Veronica of course, she was fixing her makeup but once she heard the sound of Ryder's car she was done.

I sometimes feel like she has a crush on Ryder, like our outing today she had no intention of going but when i told her Ryder told me to ask her she readily agreed. It's obvious both of them liked each other but I don't understand why they don't want to admit it. It's none of my business though.

By 4:00pm, we all gathered at the park waiting for Daniel's friends including Daniel himself and for some unknown reasons I was feeling uneasy but I tried to be positive, I kept telling myself that it was because I haven't gone out with a lot of friends before.

Rose and Josh were busy with whatsoever they were doing, I've always wondered how they ended up together. Rose is like a parrot she doesn't know when to keep shut while Josh is a very quiet person I could count the numbers of times I've heard him talking but they say opposites attract each other.

" What are you thinking about?" Elizabeth asked me when she came over with Jenny.

" I was just wondering how Josh and Rose ended up together"

" I know right" Jenny answered.

" Isn't that Blake?" Elizabeth suddenly asked when facing the opposite direction

" Yeah?" I replied well it's sounds more like a question than a reply

" I didn't know he would be joining us as well" 

" His friends are here, so it's only natural he's here and his crush is also here" Jenny talked nonchalantly.

" No way, Blake has a crush" Elizabeth practically yelled and now all eyes were on us.

" Will you keep down young lady? Or do you want Blake to rip off my head" Jenny told Elizabeth even though it was already too late as Blake was already making his way to where we were standing.

I was curious to know who Blake liked, he is a year older than us but two years older than me but nobody needs to know that. Every one thinks I'm of the same age as them, I didn't see the need to correct them since they could assume anything they wanted.

I must have totally spaced out because the next thing I heard was Blake telling Elizabeth he doesn't have a crush but Elizabeth being Elizabeth will not stop until she gets the answer she wants. It's like she's obsessed with Blake, it's normal for boys like Blake to have fan girls or crushes but Elizabeth is just obsessed with him and thank God she hasn't been stalking the innocent boy but again I won't be surprised if she suddenly starts doing that.

Checking the time, it was already 4:15pm and Daniel was no where to be found yet. Taking my phone from my bag I texted him to ask where he was, he replied telling me he was near the park and true to his reply he got to the park five minutes later. 

I left Blake and Elizabeth still arguing about Blake's crush, Jenny already left since but I really pity Blake and at the same time I wanted to know who his crush is so I didn't bother stopping Elizabeth.

I was on my way to where Daniel was since everyone was gathered there except Blake and Elizabeth, when I noticed a familiar car I tried remembering where I saw the car but ignored it when I couldn't remember.

" Mia, isn't that Tyler's car?" Ryder suddenly asked me.

" Huh... Tyler? Wait a minute, you mean Tyler King?" I asked him even though I knew the answer

" Yeah, he's friends with Daniel" he told me. Why didn't I think of it when Daniel said we were going out with his friends, was that why he was late? 

Tyler must have noticed me because he was very surprised, seems like Daniel didn't tell him about me. I acted natural since I didn't want any of my friends to notice anything.

" Sorry for coming late guys, I had to go and get my friends" thinking about it, the journey should be about an hour or so from Tyler's place.

After the apologies, we decided to go to the cinema to watch Fast and Furious 9, I was really looking forward to watch the movie. I was surprised to see Jackson and Noah.

We did a lot of catching up and I introduced my friends to them and vice versa, Jackson and Elizabeth developed a kind of interest in themselves, I won't be surprised if they suddenly start dating and atleast she'll leave Blake alone.

We all made our way to the cinema, got our tickets, popcorn and drinks, the movie lasted for 2 hours 40 minutes. After the movie we all went to get something to eat for dinner.

Since it was Friday, we didn't have to worry about school. After dinner we all went to Blake's house, his parents were not in town and his house was really big. I was already exhausted so I went to one of the guest room to get some rest.

I took a quick shower, wore a shirt I collected from Blake earlier before entering my room. Just as I left the bathroom and entered my room I saw someone inside. I was scared at first but calmed down knowing nobody would harm me inside the house.

" Amelia, can I talk to you for a moment?" Someone's voice who I recognize to be Tyler's asked me

" Are you not talking already and why will you enter my room without permission? Haven't you heard of privacy before?" I asked him rudely, not that I wanted to be rude it's just that I get annoyed anytime I remembered him ignoring for no reason.

" I'm sorry, I just wanted to talk to you" he was really looking pitiful

" Okay,let's just talk another time I'm really exhausted. So if you will please excuse me" I'm not really sure I want to talk to him.

" Alright, let's talk tomorrow. Good night" and with that he left my room.
