Forgotten

Chapter Twelve

The next day ( Vanessa POV)

I woke up at the sound of Veronica's alarm, she sets the alarm but doesn't wake up no matter how loud the alarm is. I came down from the bed to put off the alarm. Going to the bathroom to brush my teeth, I finished my daily routine, came back to the room to find Veronica still asleep, I went to her bed to wake her.

I finally succeeded in waking her after fifteen good minutes. I was already dressed for school although it was still early, it wasn't my fault I woke up early blame the alarm. School starts by 8. It was still 6:30, I went downstairs to prepare breakfast, I knew how to cook some simple meal. I made pancakes and waffles.

By the time I was done it was already 7:15, and Veronica and Victoria were also ready for school. Victoria is a year below us. We ate after saying our greetings and left for school with Veronica's car. Victoria drove by the way.

I was looking forward to seeing Blake in school today and I also hope he recognizes me.

Veronica, Victoria and I went our different ways, we don't relate much in school. We were basically strangers at school not that I minded though.

I went to my locker to get my books and my timetable, I was yet to memorize my timetable. I had English in the first period followed by Mathematics and Chemistry. Chemistry being my favorite subject. As much as I liked English I dislike my teacher, not that I disliked her but she just like to make things difficult for me so I ended up disliking her and I think the feeling is mutual.

I was my way to class when I bumped into someone, looking up I saw it was Daniel (one of Tyler's friend) I've met him once or twice back at Tyler's place and after finding out he attended this school, we became friends although not close one .

" You are always absent-minded"

" Yeah, I know. Good morning" I answered him.

" I guess you are on your way to English class"

" Yeah, I figured going early to class will save me from Miss Green's wrath. She always seems to have problem with me" Daniel laughed after listening to my complaint.

" I know right, you better go now, you will hear the bell anytime soon. I'll come later" he told me as he checked his watch.

" Okay, I know you to always go late to class. Anyway I'll see you later" with that we parted ways and just like Daniel said I heard the bell almost immediately I got to the class.

After an hour of t*****e, it's t*****e because the class was boring. I left the class to go for mathematics class. The maths class wasn't too bad as we were talking about one of my favorite topics (differentiation). Time went by, I had chemistry after mathematics and I was looking forward to the class.

I wasn't disappointed with the class, we discussed organic chemistry also one of my favorite topics in chemistry. I really enjoyed the class as it was a double period class. And after we had my least favorite class which was PHE. Don't blame me ooo, I'm not good at any sport so it's kind of frustrating being a sore loser at sport. From what I remember I used to be very active in sports, I could run and play volleyball a little but I'm still better when it comes to running but now I can't even run a 100 meter race without being tired and I guess it's because I haven't tried running for as long as I remember.

I haven't seen Blake so far, I'm actually kind of disappointed since I was really looking forward to see him or probably he didn't come to school. You know all those bad boys s**t although he doesn't look like one.

I went to my locker after the chemistry period to get my sport wear and also drop my other stuffs (my bag). I went into the bathroom to change after which I went into the gym. And guess who I saw, yeah you guessed right I just saw Blake. He has a very nice body I must say.

I guess he felt a gaze on him because he turned towards me, i looked away as soon as I could but before I knew it he was already beside me.

" Vanessa right?" He asked as if he was unsure about my name.

" Yeah, I'm actually surprised you remembered my name." I smiled at him and he smiled back. God really did a great job on this guy, I know Noah's handsome but Blake is looking better.

" Of course, why will I forget a beauty like you." He's such a sweet talker but I'm actually beautiful in the first instance.

" Wow, what a sweet talker you are. But you also don't look bad. I mean you are like a Greek God." I was already swooning at his body. Yes, he's still without his clothes, he's with his short though.

He must have noticed me gawking at him because he smiled at me and said " it seems like you are enjoying the sight" I unconsciously nodded my head. He chuckled when he saw me

" I have to go now, I need to put on my clothes we wouldn't want another person gawking at me, right?" And with that he left me to go back to wherever.

The gym was already being crowded with students, probably that's why he wanted to leave earlier.

" Did you just talk to Blake?" A girl with a blonde hair suddenly asked me

" Huh.... Yeah" I replied after I was sure she was talking to me

" Wow... I'm so envious of you. Blake doesn't talk to people apart from his group of friends especially girls."

" I never knew that" I replied her.

" You must be new here because you don't look familiar"

" Yeah, I transferred here last week. I'm Vanessa by the way." She looked like a nice girl and it wouldn't hurt to have a friend.

"Oh... Right, pardon my manners. I'm Elizabeth.

And just like that we became best of friends.
