MORE SECRETS REVEALED
Shea forced a smile, determined to play along with the charade. She really wanted to know more about this Bethany person and how she really died.
“I can’t believe you trekked up to Summit just to chat with Megan. What’s going on?” Linda asked.
“Just wanted to jump start the day. Also, my leg’s been bothering me again.” Shea wasn’t sure why she volunteered the information. But she needed to make some conversation to explain her being there earlier than scheduled. She took a long drink of tap water and said, “Was hoping I could have my pain meds back. Sorry.”
