CHAPTER 42 MISSING LINK Two people, one man and one woman, walked in dressed in business attire. Plain-clothes detectives, no doubt. The man carried a manila folder bearing what Shea guessed was the emblem of the Sedona PD. They sat in the chairs opposite the small table. “Ms. Stevens,” said the woman, “I’m Detective Hawthorne.
