Alexander’s POV I shoved all of the papers off my desk in frustration. We were running out of time. It had already been four days since I heard from Eleanor. She had attempted to warn me, and probably suffered for it, and although I didn’t want her suffering to be for naught, I couldn’t sit by and stay idle. Nicholas had taken her from me. I wasn’t about to roll over and let him. He deserved justice. No, he deserved death. I didn’t even want to imagine the things he was putting her through. Based on the research I was doing alone, it must be horrific. “Alpha? Alpha?” the phone shouted at me. I picked the phone up from off the ground and put it against my ear again. “I’m sorry, Alpha. But, we still have several more places to search. Don’t give up yet. We certainly haven’t,” James said
