Everything has been hectic for the last 12 hours preparing for a war the woman have been told to go to the field every night to practice there fighting skills as we have all to fight this fight Alpha and Luna had me in the office “will you be able to fight your own family and old pack if you can’t then I will have you stay here sit back we can’t afford any distraction when the time comes Marcus is our best fighter he needs to be focused” Alpha was the one talking he was mad and pacing up and down the room I was on the sofa Luna was staring at me and I couldn’t tell if she was mad at me or not but I burst out my seat with rage “yes that was my family but you are all my family now I wish it wasn’t like this but it is I stand with Marcus and the pack I want to be here with you all and fight if need be I’m practicing with all the woman and at night with Marcus I will protect my family and love no matter what but I can’t say I could hurt my dad he is my blood he raised me and loved me and he is hurting maybe I could talk to him see if I can try fix this mess stop the war even” Alpha laughs “there is no stoping this he knew that when he attacked us he started this fight we will end it I will talk to the pack to keep you from your father that way we might be able to fight and win without anyone trying to watch over you or oh this is bad I hate this it is just like last time” he changed the subject but my anger builds remembering the last war they had with other “yes you killed my mother when she was down getting water and someone found her dragged her back my father watched as the light went out her eyes he felt her pain and love and then attacked you for” I stopped he was staring at me like he wanted to hurt me I stepped back then Luna spoke up “my dear you know nothing I will tell you now the truth your father sent a wolf to kill my son my first born my beautiful Rex he was Alpha material and one of the elders said to your father that his witch seen that one day Rex would marry you his daughter he was angry never wanted that to happen he sent a wolf to kill my son when he was out hunting for food one day we seen red when his lifeless body came back to us and yes we brought the war to your people after your father started it I’m sorry your mother died but she didn’t die were you were told she died at your fathers feet Marcus killed her by accident he went to kill your father and your mother jumped in front taking the blow Marcus was devastated at killing a female and Luna and we decided one royal dead for another royal is the end we stopped and came home your father was mad he still is he is sick in the head dear but please understand we don’t start things we finish them and your mother was a lovely caring wonderful soal I liked her we were friends for a while the Alphas didn’t talk over things it was always me and your mother she even came here and was welcomed every time she always said she hoped for you to marry one of our male men she knew what your father was like she couldn’t leave because the bond and love but she hoped she could save you and I promised her I would help I’m glad you and Marcus mated I wish it was with my by but can’t help who you bond with that is the wolf goddess who chooses that” I was crying my heart was pounding lies this has to be lies but deep down I knew it was the truth I can’t describe it “why tell me why my father would lie to me he loved me he would never hurt me he was the best dad all my life he was normal I love him please tell me this is lies” I look into her eyes she is holding back her tears she is not lying I stand up throw my arms in the air “ I need to speak to my father I need him to tell me the truth he needs to stop this madness” and I remember her saying what Marcus did “and I want to speak with my husband please” she nods “I understand it is a lot to take in and I hope you think before you act speacially with Marcus he was so devastated and hurt with what happened and he’s been hurting about it since you came here he wanted to tell you but he was told not to” she looks at Alpha and I follow her gaze he calls out for Marcus and minutes later he comes rushing in to my side “babe” he takes my hand Luna stands and moves to Alpha “let’s get her the phone so she can speak with her father and we can give them a minute to talk” they leave I was about to ask were they can get a phone from as this place has nothing like that but I don’t I turn to my man look him in the eyes wipe away my tears “babe talk to me what’s wrong” I take a deep breath “Marcus I know the truth” he looks confused “about my mother”I cry out and stand he hands his head and I feel the guilt and sadness heavy between us he sat quiet for a few minutes I waited ready to say something to him when he stood and walked to the fire on the wall “babe I tried to tell you but every time I tried o couldn’t I didn’t want to hurt you even more I killed your mother how could I say that to you” he cry’s I’ve never seen him this way I put my hand on his shoulder “I know Marcus I know it was accident I know how it started and all that I don’t blame you Marcus I blame my father I don’t want him dead but I want him to stop this before he gets anyone else killed we can deal with this after we fix this mess ok” I take a breath I can’t believe how I’m handling this so far and I can’t think of anything else a boy come running in holding out a phone in his hand gives me it and runs out and before I can do anything I hear my dad call my name I put the phone to my ear “I’m hear dad” I groan “well about time are you ready to come home now stop messing about like a child do you know what mess you have started” I gasp he is blaming me the anger builds up “are you f*****g kidding me you started this you got my mother killed now you want to get me killed well no more dad not this time ok I’m done with your lies and your s**t get ready to lose this war I hate you so much for all this you get innocent people killed for your own pleasure I’m done goodbye see you in hell dad” I didn’t let him reply I hanged up the phone and toss it in the fire I hear a sharp gasp behind me Alpha and Luna are there I didn’t hear them come in “I’m sorry but he needs to be stopped I have had enough he is crazy let’s finish this once and for all stop innocent people getting hurt or killed we will go to war and win this f*****g fight now let’s get ready” I hold the tears back that are threatening to run Ma cud scoops me up and hugs me tight “I love you babe” I smile and hug back “same here big guy” I look at Luna and Alpha they smile “well then I guess we will be going to war let’s get everyone prepared and ready till your father lets us know when we fight could be any day now so move get making the weapons and practice fights for everyone except” Alpha stops looks at Luna he takes her hand “my dearest love you need to stay back take care of all the children and heal the injured that come in as you are our healer they will need you and I can’t lose you” he places a kiss on her head I could tell she wanted to be there with us but she is the only healer and the only one the children will listen to and she has to accept it as Luna and healer.
