Chapter 32 – Back to the Grind

By the time my father and I got back to the pack house, I was too exhausted to explain anything. That was the fastest I had ever run in my life. The fact that I nearly dragged my father the whole way as well didn’t help my exhaustion. Rowan and Theo snuck back through my window from the roof once they saw I was dragging my father with me. Whether my father saw them up there or not was a mystery, but he didn’t comment on it. Instead, he went down to the safety rooms in the basement of the pack house to let the pack know it was safe for the pack to come out.
