Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV
I'm still alone in the hospital. Sorin had to leave for a business meeting, and who am I to stop her, right? She's the only one who's been helping me, so it wouldn't be fair for me to demand otherwise. As I saw the door knob turn, indicating someone's arrival, I braced myself for their entrance.
"Hello, Asteria!" Cyra greeted warmly. Sorin probably asked her to keep me company.
"Hi Cyra!" My best enemy is with her. The one and only Yusei.
"Hello, why have you come to visit?"
"If Sorin hadn't informed us about your hospitalization, we wouldn't have known. Texting your best friend is a trending!" it grumbled, casting a disapproving glance my way. I chuckled at Cyra's dramatic response.
"Oh what are you laughing at?" Yusei asked satisfactorily.
"The stove really kills the vibe," I muttered, frustrated. It's so irritating.
"Oh, you, you're always the one who truly cares," Yusei said.
"That's enough," Cyra came between us. Then they took a seat in the chair near me.
"Bestie, does Kian know you're in the hospital?" Cyra inquired, speaking with an apple in her mouth.
"Well, Kate is also in the hospital," I responded.
"How is that?" She asked, irritated. Unbeknownst to Cyra, she also harbors feelings for that girl.
"Pregnant," I admitted simply, as if i didn't care.
"Pregnant? What?! Wait, is that girl pregnant?!" She exclaimed, becoming hysterical upon hearing my response.
"Babe, Grumpy is too close to you. Don't scream," Yusei said, covering her ear as if trying to understand her girlfriend.
"Well, I shouldn't have sent you back to that Kian. You should prioritize your relationship with your wife," Cyra exclaimed in shock, her anger evident as she peeled the apple.
"Leave it alone. At least Sorin helped me," I reassured her, hoping to calm her down and halt her hysterics.
"You and Big sis are truly better," the Arrogant replied. She still grinned at me and nodded, proud of her statement.
"So Kian doesn't know you're in the hospital?" Cyra inquired, her tone tinged with concern.
"Is it necessary? She's already at Kate's house," I replied angrily, taking a bite of the apple. My mood swings were getting the better of me again. Despite her small actions, I still harbored a crush on Kian, which often led me to get upset and angry with her.
"Oh, the doctor just said not to stress," a person spoke, catching my attention.
"Are you done with your business meeting?" I asked Sorin fondly as she entered the room.
"Yes, I was in a hurry so I could watch over you again," she replied with concern.
"Ow It's sweet," Cyra replied with a smile.
"Tch," my best-enemy is truly destructive.
"Come on, Babe, so that we can't disturb them," Cyra suggested, grabbing her girlfriend's hand.
"Bye, Grumpy," she said, leaving even though she was clearly annoyed.
"Bye, Arrogant," I retorted, feeling my frustration rising again, fueled by the desire for revenge.
Sorin and I are the only one left here.
"Sorin?"
"Hmm?" She came over to me, curious about something.
"Could you please?"
"So, Asteria?" I didn't wait for her response before playfully pinching her cheek.
"I'm the one you were thinking about."She said, laughing.
"You're so cute." "I said, pinching her cheek. Her cheeks felt so soft, delightful to squish."
Kian Calen Levington POV
"s**t" I muttering in my head. I didn't go home."
"Kian, is there a problem?" Oh no, I dreaded that something I didn't want to see would be revealed to me.
"I'm heading home first," I continued, standing up. She didn't even glance back. Just as I was about to leave, Kate spoke up.
"Kian, I'm not accompanying you," Kate stated bluntly.
"Estria isn't accompanying you either. Perhaps you're forgetting that she's also pregnant," I said as I walked out the door, frowning at her.
"I'm just going home."
Fortunately, there was no traffic, so I got home right away. As I entered the door, I dashed up the stairs, finding the room still messy. By the way, Estria doesn't want to hire an assistant. Where could she be?
"Estria?" I went to the bathroom but she wasn't there.
"Estria?" I went to the guest room and she still wasn't there.
"Estria?" I went to another room. She wasn't there either.
"Estria?" I went to the veranda, she wasn't there either.
"Estria?" I went to the kitchen and she wasn't there either. I'm turning pale at the thought. Maybe not. Stay away from negative thoughts.
"Where is she?" I thought about it.
"f**k!" Maybe she really ran away again. Where can I find her? I went to our neighbor's house, hoping to get at least a little information.
"Oh, Kian, it's you," Emma opened up to me.
"Can I ask a question?" I asked breathlessly.
"You're already asking," Emma's philosophy said.
"Have you seen Asteria?"
"Someone visited her last night," she looked up.
"Who was it?" Maybe she was the one who took Estria. Or maybe she was with her.
She's a woman, beautiful, tall. I heard Asteria call her Sorin.
"s**t. Sorin!" Sorin again. I closed my eyes tightly because I couldn't stop the jealousy.
"Did they leave together?"
"Yes, I saw Asteria holding her stomach. She must be in pain, that's why Sorin rushed her to the nearby hospital," Emma said. It's good that she's a gossip. I found a lot of information.
"Okay, thank you," I said, bidding goodbye. I ran to my car. Estria is probably where Kate is now confined. Tyco is the only hospital near here.
Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV
"You're really cute, Sorin," I smiled at her, pinching her cheeks too.
"Hey, Asteria. I'm right," she said.
"That?"
"I'm the one you're imagining," she replied with a smile, revealing her white teeth.
"I prefer you and my conception to your arrogant sister," I said, pouting. Maybe my son will inherit some pride there. Suddenly, she pinched me close to my snoring lips.
"You're so cute," she whispered while staring at me. Is it just like that?
"Tse," I pinched her on both her cheeks.
"You're still cuter, so don't ever leave me because I'll lose cuteness in my life," I scolded her and threatened her.
"I promise," she made a promise sign as if she were really swearing.
"Sorin, will you be the godmother?" When I asked, I hoped she would agree. It's like a big birthday present for my child.
"You just want another mom," she said and winked at me. Oh? What? I don't get it anymore, or maybe my brain processing has slowed down.
"Estria!" I stopped, realizing someone else was calling me. Only one person calls me 'Estria'.
Sorin and I both looked at the door.
"W-who?" I stammered. She approached me and kissed me on the cheek.
"Why didn't you say you were in the hospital?" Kian asked, his eyes full of concern. It seems like he has cried too.
"You're busy," I replied sparingly, my voice sad as I just looked down.
"You had an emergency at the office, right?" I meant to emphasize the emergency, but she averted her eyes. I was lying. I turned to Sorin.
"Can you leave?"i asked loudly. Sorin just grinned and glared at him before standing up.
"I'll leave first, Asteria. Always take care," she said, waving her hand at me. Before she went out, i and Sorin looked at each other again.
Kate Brilantes POV.
It's frustrating that Yusei didn't even visit me. Then, when I followed her earlier, she visited Asteria. Asteria, the one who seems to be all my Kian's luck revolves around. And there's Sorin, who is possessive of her. If Yusei is also like that, then they are still very close. I wish I could just be Asteria.
So now I am determined to sabotage her relationship with Kian. I won't feel guilty anymore. Never. There are too many women in his life. If Yusei hadn't pitied me, I wouldn't have hurt her. But it's not because even Yusei seems to be hanging around. Because right now, I will be selfish.
Message to Kian: "When you come here, I'm not with you, and there's no nurse here either. My stomach still hurts. Maybe our baby will be fine again." It's a lie, but it's part of my plan with Sorin. You can come to me, Yusei, and leave that Cyra. And I won't allow you to get close to that Asteria.
