Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV Kian is so annoying. She appears suddenly and then leaves immediately. She ran away again. When she held her phone, she looked like she was gripping it tightly. It looked really fragile; even a slight grip could break the screen. She might say there's an emergency at the company, but she can't fool me anymore. Like, duh. She said there was an emergency because of Kate. It's Really annoying. Eventually, I lost my company. So, in a fit of anger, I want to imitate what Cyra was doing earlier with the apple. As soon as Kian came, I lost my company. So what am I going to do here alone? Meditate? Talk to the wall? The tiles, blankets, and pillows? This is what I don't like about being in the hospital. There's nothing to do, and it's really boring. By the way, I'm still the type of person who gets really frustrated when there's nothing to do. I tried to stand, and I managed to. I was about to walk to the apple tree when I was startled by the door opening. "What are you doing, my beautiful wife?" Kian said. I just fell in love with her. Now she's being tender because she knows she's done wrong. I just sat back on the bed. "Why do you suddenly appear? Are you a mushroom?" I asked, irritated. She laughed and came over to me, sitting on the monoblock that was there. "Mushroom? To your pretty one? Why!" Face thickness. But because it's true, I'll give it to you. Yes, she's really beautiful. My wife is really beautiful. "Stop that. You still have a fault with me," I lay down and turned my back to her. I'm sulking, so she should coax me. "Asteria Celeste Levington," she softly called me, caressing my back. "Sorry if I lied to you." "Yes, and you really managed to leave me," I teased her. "So you don't want to lose me by your side?" She grabbed both of my arms and quickly made me face her. "Hey," she still caressed and kissed my senses, so I closed my eyes. It's just so romantic for me. She came to my bed in the hospital and sat next to me. It turns out that we both fit here. She slid her hand around my waist and hugged me. "It's like I've committed so many sins against you," she said while staring at my face. She seemed to have memorized it. I nodded. "That's my point, Kian. That's why I don't want you to leave my side. I also need someone to be with," I explained. "What if Sorin hadn't thought to visit? Who's going to help me then?" I said hesitantly. There was sadness in my voice. She frowned and seemed to be triggered by what I said. "I know it's my fault, Estria. But can you please not talk about that Sorin?" I just get angrier at myself because she was there when I wasn't. You couldn't even help. She broke away from hugging me and stood up. "Kian," I called her, but she just kept going out. I could see the frustration on her face. What have you done again, Asteria? But I did the right thing, didn't I? It was only right that I told her because it was true. Sorin Alvarez POV "How's your acting going?" I asked Kate, curious if my plan is progressing. "I can sense they're already fighting," she said, laughing even more villainously on the other line. It seems like the tide has turned, and she's now satisfied with what she's doing. "Good then," I replied tersely. I just grinned and hung up. Kian might have arrived, she said goodbye, and I heard the call end. It's a sign that our conversation is over. It's just a matter of time before I get Asteria. I'm pleased with the visible improvement. Earlier, when I saw Asteria look away from Kian, I was satisfied. It felt so good when Asteria confided in me, but suddenly, her sullen wife intervened. I'm ready to take responsibility for their children as long as the girl I love the most is with me. "You will be mine, Asteria. Mine only." Kate Brillantes POV "Now what if I come?" I looked at the person who spoke. Shocks! She might have heard that. I quickly dropped my cell phone and put it under the pillow. I can't open the door. We can't be caught, especially now that Sorin's plan is working. "H-how long have you been here?" I stuttered, hoping she hadn't heard anything. Please, no. If she did, I'll really be in trouble with Sorin. "Just arrived," she answered. I sighed in relief as if the thorn in my chest had disappeared. Fortunately, she didn't hear our whole conversation. "Does your stomach still hurt?" She came to me, but she didn't seem to really care. Her mind was far away. I nodded. "Yes, but I guess that's natural. It's not that bad. Just a little," I lied. "Good to hear that." "Kian, doesn't your wife get angry because of this? For always coming to me and leaving her?" I asked. She looked away and nodded. "She's angry, but I'm more angry. I'm angry with myself," she whispered, and I listened. She didn't tell me that, but it hung in the air. She turned to me. "I'll go first," she said in a serious tone and walked away. Kian Calen Levington POV I left Kate's room, pondering why she turned down the call. What if I overhear their conversation? I have a feeling she's hiding Something from me. I won't rest until | find out. The private investigator I hired is useless, providing no information. I returned to my wife's room and touched her back, noticing her movement. It's a sign she's crying. "Estria," I approached her. "Why are you crying?" I asked worriedly, wondering if she's in pain. She gave me one look, then turned away. "Tell me why, please," I insisted, staying calm and gentle. Still, she didn't say a word. I lay next to her and hugged her, but she removed my arms. "Estria, are you mad at me?" I buried my face in her neck, knowing she's still upset. l'm still mad at myself. Her scent enveloped me. She's still silent, her eyes closed. "I know you're awake," I said in a low tone. There was still no response. Fine, let's see if she responds to this. I got off the bed, locked the door, then removed my upper clothes. "W-what are you doing?" she asked, stuttering. Finally, she spoke. Yes, it's effective. "I'm going to make love to you right here," I pressed a slow kiss on her lips. She was stunned for a moment but responded. We paused. "Right here, at the hospital?" If I don't do something, she won't pay attention to me. "Yeah," I kissed her neck, finding her weakest spot and sucking it. Afterward, I stared at her darkly. "You p*****t!" she shouted, quickly covering herself with a blanket. I even heard her laugh a little. My wife is starting to come alive again. I removed the blanket covering her. "Oh, come on, Estria, I'm only a p*****t to you," I teased her, trying to see if she'll give in. "Kian, I'm pregnant, and the baby might be hurt by what we're going to do, she answered hesitantly. I laughed at her response. Would she really kill me if our child is harmed? "Hmm, okay," I said, putting on my clothes and lying down next to her. "Just try not to avoid talking to me again" | hugged her, and she hugged me back. "I love you," I said, kissing her quickly. "l hate you," she looked at me playfully. "Ah, well, I love you too," she quickly corrected, smiling at me. I kissed her on the forehead. "Now, sleep, my wife," I ordered her. Next Day.. Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV When I woke up, a smiling Kian greeted me. "Good morning, Estria, my wife." What's gotten into her? "Are you okay?" "Just eat, Estria. I'll feed you," she inquired, taking some food and putting it on a spoon. "Eat," she said, urging me to open my mouth. I complied and swallowed it. After a brief conversation, she left for a while. l just stared at the food. I wonder why Kian is being so sweet now. Could she have committed another sin? Maybe. But then again? Sin was immediately associated. Okay, Heart has a point. Yes, she's just being sweet. She hasn't done anything wrong. Just sweet, just sweet. Am I overthinking?
