THE CONFRONTATION BEGINS

“isn’t that Erka mist?” Ardona was shocked by a familiar voice, he turned around to come face to face with members of the black nation. The particular youth that spoke pointed at them and somehow, they knew what would happen next.
“Oh, we will be glad to destroy you.” Haru yelled again and the entire company moved towards Erka mist`s participants who also drew closer.
The official announced that the two nations would face off and that they should present their representatives. Erka mist presented Ardona and two others, a young girl called Ony and another young man called Lamp.
“Pfft, Lamp? Is that even name?” Haru laughed out loud, he has done every possible thing he could do to infuriate those from Erka mist.
“Annoying them won`t make it any easier. They are all in the realm of masters, remember?” Titi managed to whisper without moving her lips, Haru quickly turned grim, their situation was just hopeless.
“Your representatives please.” The official turned towards Xiao with a smile, they had to present three disciples. Xiao felt uneasy, both by the herculean task of choosing disciples and also by the weird smile the official gave. She quietly turned towards her disciple and began to select.
She chose Da sun, Titi and Matero to represent the nation, she would also be the master to accompany the three.
With a nod, the official wrote out a couple things, chakra engulfed him and a bright light marked a circle round him, the three from each nation stepped into the circle along with the masters. The official unveiled a box, it had switches all over and he flipped one, he along with all those in the circle disappeared.
“I suggest you begin to pack your bags Erka mist freaks.” Haru resumed his banters, he had no confidence within him, but he still wanted to annoy their opponents.
“Ardona will be victorious, your second realm cultivation can`t save you.” They laughed as they replied Haru.
“We have a monster, he will crush you.” Haru had no faith in what he said, but somehow the figure of Matero formed in his mind. “He will crush you!” Haru re-emphasized with much fervor.
Matero felt the same way he did when they arrived in the east stand, opening his eyes, he was on an open field along with everyone else. There was a huge stage before them and the field had no end.
The official was already on the stage, he held on to the box and maintained his gentle smile. He scanned the eight below him and spoke in a loud voice.
“The rules are simple, the nation with the last man standing wins. You can go all out, injuries are real, but this mechanism automatically extracts anyone facing a life threatening attacks.” He quickly explained.
The three disciples from each nation would go up once and fight side by side as a team, normal duel rules, falling off the stage or deliberately leaving also meant losing.
“I suggest you forfeit.” Ardona chuckled, he pulled his sword and chakra engulfed him. “I alone am not your match. We exist on very different realms.”
Titi pulled her sword and dashed forwards, flames engulfed her and her speed was inhuman.
“Titi is using her true abilities, her ‘soft over hard’ moves coupled with her inhuman flame mastery earned her the name princess of flames.” Xiao`s voice sounded in Matero`s head.
Lamp yelled and slashed from where he stood, the entire stage shook and the segment where Matero and company were tore off. Like a piece of cloth ripped apart, that part of the stage broke off.
With baffled gazes, the trio quickly jumped off the falling segment and landed on the remaining part of the stage that remained firm.
“Such power, he ripped the stage apart with his chakra alone.” Da sun was shocked, the power of a master was terrifying. The third realm was the realm of masters, so anyone who was at this realm was always referred to as a master.
“Dancing flames.” Titi`s sword was engulfed by flames, it was like she held a burning sword. She slashed towards their opponents and flames blasted in the direction of the slashed.
It was like an outburst of larva, except it was actually fire that ravaged like a storm. It spread out so wide that it covered half the stage, the half Ardona and his colleagues stood.
“All this is nothing.” Ardona released his aura, it burst forth like an explosion, a breeze like yellow substance moved from him with immense pressure. Those in the realm of masters had visible auras, during battle, you could see the aura. It could take any color, take any nature. Some used skills that directly utilized their auras and pressures, Old pa used this a lot.
Ardona`s aura extinguished the flames and crashed upon Titi and company. Matero grabbed Titi by her arm and held Da sun at his shoulder just before the attack made impact.
“Bam.” The entire arena shook, the broken segment of the stage that was slowly regenerating tore off again, Matero and company were nowhere to be found,
“They are too strong.” Ardona who was almost laughing was startled by a voice not far from him, some how Matero and the others were safe and unharmed.
“One of you is pretty skilled, moving the others with such ease.” Ony like her partners was impressed. Just now Matero had used instant step and moved his colleagues before the attack made impact.
“They are too strong.” It was Titi who spoke, she no longer launched an attack. The realm of masters was far above the other two realms. “We can`t win.” She added with regret.
Da sun was infuriated, he dashed forward with amazing agility. The stage shook from the pressure he exuded, he travelled straight towards their opponents.
Matero called out to him, he neglected the call and moved even faster, chakra surging from him.
“Let me handle this.” Ony`s voice was cold, she gave an evil smile and made a stance. Suddenly she disappeared and appeared colliding with Da sun.
She didn`t appear and Da sun collided with her, she appeared colliding with Da sun, her punch lodged perfectly into his stomach.
“Bam!!!” Breeze blew in all directions and Da sun disappeared instantly. He appeared back on floating crest, he was shocked. To him, Ony who was faraway was just before him and she punched him. That he was extracted instantly meant he would have died, the laughter from behind jolted him to life.
“The strongest amongst you is out, Ardona will rid the rest soon enough.” The disciples from Erka mist laughed out loud, Haru`s face went sulky.
“She didn`t teleport Matero, she actually dashed!” Xiao`s voice sounded in Matero`s mind, the fact that Ony actually ran was unbelievable.
“I end this now.” Ardona chuckled as he spoke and chakra engulfed him, coupled with hs aura, he looked like a bright yellow flame. The entire stage shook, Titi couldn`t move, Matero felt massive restrictions.
After all, the two were still at the third step of the second realm. They were in the presence of a skilled disciple at the first step of the third realm, a master.
Titi suddenly gave a strange nod, chakra engulfed her and she leaped off the stage.
“What?”
“She surrendered?” Lamp expected her to unleash another attack but instead she went off the stage, that was deliberate. Her figure disappeared, just Matero was left on stage now with Xiao observing.
“Finally.” Matero smiled brightly, the aura around him changed. Ardona was slightly puzzled, it was like Matero was also a master, the feeling he got from Matero somehow scared him. “I will crush you all.” Matero added lazily.
The official was shocked, it was like Matero had been replaced by an entirely different person. The aura he radiated was completely different.
“Is he the same person?” Ony had to question the others.
“Go all out Matero.” Xiao smiled and communicated with her mind.
