MORE THAN FRIENDS

''You know you can always talk to me, i mean its okay for a man to break down, we are all human remember, and trust me your secret is safe with me Mr Toshi , '' Said Levi. '' I am the only surviving child of my mother Levi , i had a brother and a sister but they got involved in a car accident bu unfortunately they did not make it." he paused to clean tears from his right cheek and continued , " Only my mother survived but the impact of the accident left her paralyzed. From below her waist to the legs is paralyzed . She only moves around with a wheelchair. The little salary i earn from here is what i use to buy her medication which i can barely afford. I feel like i have failed my mother for not being able to afford money for her treatment Levi, '' he said sobbing bitterly.

"Don't stress yourself too much mr Toshi, your mother knows that you have given it your best. "Levi said tapping his shoulders . " Just look at me, at my age i have nothing to call mine , i feel like a failure. You have a great future Levi , i mean you come from a wealthy family whatever you want you get not like me who was born struggling until know im still struggling , '' Mr Toshi wept . " Miracles do happen to those who believe in them mr Toshi , do you believe in miracles ?'' Levi asked him. " Not like i don't believe in them but someone coming from nowhere to help you is kinda difficult , " he replied. " Even if you don't have much at least you have your life, living healthy, that is more than you can ask for . You still have your mother with you and she loves you . My mother died when i was still a child and i have grown up without mother's love. I only have my dad and i love him so much, " Levi added.

" Levi, do you know that you always have a way to make other people feel better ? " mr Toshi asked smiling at him . " I can't stent to see others sad. I believe that a problem shared is half solved you know, That aside Mr Toshi i have something important to tell you, " said Levi. Mr Toshi turned to look at him with a face full of curiosity ." Go ahead i'm listening ," he said. "Do you know that Clara has feelings for you mr Toshi, ,'' he paused to observe him then continued ," Why are you looking at me like that, i just told you the truth you don't want to accept, i mean she has been showing you green lights and everyone knows about it " ,Levi concluded.

"Yeah i know that she loves me, you see Clara is a very beautiful woman and a very sweet soul . Even if she likes me there is nothing i can do , you know the school rules now, it forbids any form of relationship between teachers and students. I really don't want to loose my job Levi otherwise i will be doomed , " They both went silent for a moment. " Mr Toshi , you worry too much. i know you love that girl but you are scared of loosing your job right ?" Levi asked him. He took a deep breathe , bit his lower lip and said," Yes i like her too but even if we had a thing what can i offer her, i am not financially stable. I can't afford girlfriend allowance and she will definitely leave me for someone else anyway its getting really late now you need to go and sleep , we will talk tomorrow, good night " '' Good night ''

The trip to Eco farm was almost coming to an end . Only two days were left. " Since we came here , you have changed . All your attention is on Nova now. " Zari said to Lvi during the morning run. " Zari you are my best friend, Nova is the love of my life. Both of you are important to me , please understand that ,'' said Levi. " Understand ? ooooh i understand that nova has become the most important in your life now , okay good luck ,'' she said running faster leaving his him behind. " Hey man, do you need a laptop, a phone, or anything i will give you 10 % discount if you want , " Idris said catching up with Levi. " Yeah there is something i want you to do for me , and i mean business." Levi said. " Stop, stop , what do you want me to do for you ?'' he asked pulling Levi to stop .

" Well, i want you to prepare me a romantic date on the grasses just before the entrance gate to the banana plantation today night " he said resuming his run. " Okay consider it done, just remember to pay in time, '' Idris answered. "look , money is not a problem to me, just do what you have to do , he concluded. Later that day , Levi searched for and secretly took out a cloth from his pocket and blindfolded her. "Levi i know that is you, where are you taking me now ," she asked curiously. He held her and and they carefully walked to the venue. When the blindfold was removed Zari could not believe what she saw . Before her was some red candle carefully arranged to form a big love. Inside rhe love was a white piece of clothe written in bold capital letters; I LOVE YOU NOVA.

She jumped on him and gave him a tight hug . " Thank you Levi , this means a lot to me . " she said tightening her grasp. " I can do anything for you, i love you and promise to hold this little hands of yours in my arms forever." he said . After they had eaten, they both lay on their backs their face facing the sky. " The sky looks more beautiful tonight right,''Levi said . " Yeah , this feeling is magical , how i wish it could last forever ," she replied . '' You see that bright star over there Nova ?'' he asked. " If you were to name it today what name would you call it ?" he asked ."Well i would call it my treasure in the sky . " she answered . "'Thats a cool name , i have never thought of a name like that before. " he said . " You should always live every moment to the fullest because you never know when you breathe your last , " he added .

'' You know that everyone will one day die right nova ?" he asked. "Yeah i know " she said . " Well then, if one day i die before you , i don't want you to cry , just look for the brightest star in the sky , smile and say goodbye my treasure in the sky . " he said. "Shhhhh , don't say that , you will not die. I want us to get married someday have children together and live together happily.'' she said turning to look at him. "Time will be the ultimate judge for that . I also want the same . Having a family with you is the best thing that can ever happen to me. That can make me the happiest man in this world , " he said rolling over and landed on top of her .
