I headed into work the next day happy, happier than I had ever been. As soon as I got there I called all my staff together.

“Hey guys, thank you for handling the shop yesterday. You guys are like my family each and every one of you means the world to me so thank you. I called you all here to say. Your all invited to my wedding” I put my hand forward and my best friends Milly and Jess screamed. They all congratulated me and I smiled telling them about Rishi.

We all got back to work but I couldn’t stop smiling all day. I was finishing up a birthday cake when Jess popped her head in.

“Hey there’s a guy here says he wants to book a wedding cake. Should I tell him to book an appointment or have you got time”

“I’ve got time its fine send him in” I was at the sink washing my hands and someone shouted boo.

I jumped turning around, Rishi stood there holding his stomach laughing. I pushed his shoulder.

“What are you doing here you scared me to death” he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him and pulled away, he was smiling down at me and I rolled my eyes.

“I have come to order a wedding cake” he laughed. “We should probably set a date first”

“Yeah that would be a good idea” Milly and Jess walked over and I smiled at them.

“Guys this is Rishi, Rishi these are my best friends Milly and Jess” he shook their hands and smiled down at me.

“Is it ok if I steal your boss for 10 minutes?”

“Oh yeah defiantly, why don’t you just go we will close up for tonight” I thanked them grabbed my coat and bag and walked out to the car park.

We walked outside and his car was parked next to mine, his sleek black BMW was amazing compared to my little Black Audi A1.

“So how come you came here”

“Am I not allowed to visit my fiancé at work” he laughed “I’m joking I came to see you because I wanted to take you to dinner and also tomorrow morning our parents want us to go to the temple together to get our teve (a book based on stars at the time of the individual’s birth) read and set a date”

“Yeah that sounds good, is it ok if I go home and change first, I’m covered in icing” I smile

“Yeah sure I’ll pick you up from your house at 7ish” he kissed my cheek and got into his car.

I drove home and jumped in the shower I quickly changed applied a bit of makeup and slipped on some jeans, a nice top and some heels. I checked myself over and headed downstairs, I told my parents and walked outside just as Rishi pulled up. He stepped out of the car and kissed my cheek, he glanced down at my shoes and smiled.

“Guess you’re going to have to get used to wearing heels so you can reach my face” he laughed he opened the passenger door and I stepped in. What a gentleman, I smiled to myself and he slipped into the car.

“So where would you like to eat, a fancy restaurant, comfort food or get maccies or something” he laughed. His voice was so powerful it made me shiver.

“I don’t mind, I don’t really like fancy restaurants so maybe comfort food or maccies. There’s this pub close by it has really good comfort food”

“Pub it is then” he started driving and the music in his car started, I hummed along with the song giving him directions.

“I love this song so much, Khabb. It’s one of my favourites”

“Me too he has such a good voice and it’s a cute meaningful song” he parked the car and we walked into the pub. As soon as I walked in David my school friend hugged me.

“Hey girl long time no see”

“David this is my fiancé Rishi, Rishi this is my friend from school he owns the place” David was eyeing my man. He took us to a quiet corner booth and we sat down.

David mouthed he’s fit at me and I laughed.

“Rishi are you ok” he smiled at me and nodded.

“Yeah I’m good so what do you fancy” we ordered our food and we both got a cider.

We chatted through our meal and he made me laugh.

“I love marvel so much and harry potter I could watch them on repeat forever” he laughed.

“Me too I could quote harry potter word for word” his eyes twinkled and he watched me carefully with a smile on his face. David was watching and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“I think David has a crush on you” I said to Rishi

“What can I say I am loveable” I smiled and we walked outside and sat on a bench watching the sun set. It was summer and the sky was pink, the breeze was warm and my hair flew into my face.

Rishi laughed brushing the hair from my face behind my ear, his hand cupped my cheek and his thumb brushed my lip. A shiver ran through me and I gulped. He leaned in and my eyes fluttered close. His lips brushed mine and I pressed my lips into his, his hand slipped down to my waist pulling me closer. I pulled away blushing and he smiled.

“Don’t be shy” he placed his hand in mine and I bit my lip. My heart felt like it was glowing. This is too good to be true.

We headed back to my house and I invited him in, he said hi to my parents and I took him up to my room.

“I need your help picking something to wear to your friend’s wedding. All of my stuff is really simple I don’t like too much embroidery. What do you think?” I pulled out a plan purple lehnga it had a little bit of gold embroidery on the top and skirt but had a broquede gold floral pattern the chuni was slightly heavier with gems all over it. I held it up and Rishi smirked.

“It’s perfect, you would look beautiful in anything” he smirked standing up. He walked over and I set the suit down.

“I will meet you at the temple in the morning, I have to head back home I have some work to finish up” I tip toed even in my heels I still couldn’t reach his lips, he bent down and gave me a quick peck and I walked him out.
