OBEROI VILLA:
Today Ritwik is little early and seeing him Roshini becomes happy.
“Well Mr.CEO you are early today.” Roshini said playfully.
“What is this mom, if I comes late you taunts me and when I come early today you again taunts me?” Ritwik said annoyingly making faces
“i***t, I’m just messing with you. Go and freshen up and then come downstairs we’ll talk.” She said hitting his forehead.
“OK mom, where is Ruhu?”
“She is in her room.”
Then he left for his room and reaching there he freshen up and changed in nightwear. Then he moves towards Ruhani’s room and knocks on the door. Ruhani said come in. As he enters he sees, Ruhani is searching something in her wardrobe.
“Hey bhai, do you need anything?”
“Actually I forget to talk with you in the office due to work so I thought to ask you now that how was your first day as an intern in Oberoi’s?”
“The day was good and I have learned new things and the staff is pretty good.”
“It’s really good that you are learning speedily and I’m proud of you.”
“Thank you bhai!! By the way what was the issue which that girl came with on the name of Oberoi’s?”
“Nothing its just a small misunderstanding with driver, he was not provided with proper address but everything gets sorted.”
“She has guts and confidence reflects from her personality. By the way who was that girl?”
“She is Palak Mehta, supervisor of Mehta Organizers and daughter of CEO.”
“Okay!! Come let’s go downstairs.”
“I have to talk with Manav bhai, I’ll join with him, you go.” Saying this he moves to Manav’s room.
He sees the door is open, he peeks inside and sees Manav sitting on bed doing something in his phone. He enters inside and sits besides him. Sensing someone’s presence Manav sees beside him and said,“ What happened, why are you here suddenly?”
“Aab me aapne bhai k room me milne bhi nahi aa sakta?” Ritwik said dramatically. (Now can’t I even come to meet my brother in his room?)
“Drama mat kar, sidhe sidhe bol nahi toh chaped khayega.” Manav said glaring at Ritwik but end up laughing. (Stop doing drama, tell me what it is or else I’ll slap you)
“OK fine, I’m here to share a good news with you.” Ritwik said with a goofy smile and seeing his face Manav raised his one eye brow.
“Maine toh sirf friendship karne ke liye kaha tha par tu toh good news leke hi aa gaya!” Manav said with a shocked face. ( I told you to befriend her but you are here with good news.)
Listening this Ritwik hits Manav with a pillow and said, “Kya yaar bhai kuch bhi bolte ho, pahele meri puri baat toh suno.” (What s**t are you talking about bro? Atleast listen to my whole thing)
“Ok fine, tell me.” This time Manav said seriously.
“Today, I talked with Palak in the morning and asked for friendship and she said yes and by the evening we went for coffee.” Ritwik said in one go.
“Ooh bhai, tu toh bahut tez nikala, sidha date pe hi le gaya.” Manav said with a smirk. (Great man, you are really fast in first meet only you take her on date)
“It wasn’t a date, it’s just a friendly meet.” Ritwik said.
“OK I take that but did you get to know anything about her?”
“Yes we played 20 questions, it was her suggestion and because of that game I got know about her a little.”
“It seems like she is also interested in you that’s why she took the initiative to know each other.”
“There is nothing like that, it’s just friendly game. As we were getting bored so she suggested.”
“How can you say that it was a friendly game, you are not experience enough.”
“I can see that in her eyes that it was just a friendly gesture from her and nothing more.”
“Ok fine, as you say. Now come let’s go downstairs everyone must be waiting for us.”
They both go downstairs and sees everyone sitting in living room and they also sits with them. They talks for some while and they had their dinner with lots of questions for Ruhani because its was her first day as an intern. After finishing their dinner they all spend some time and then they all retarded to their respective rooms.

RITWIK’S POV:
In Ritwik’s room
I’m sitting on my swing with lots of questions in my mind regarding today’s behavior of Palak with me and I can’t get a grip on it. Was Manav bhai right that Palak has also feeling for me? Am I thinking too much?
I think she feels nothing for me. I’m just a friend for her. But what if she also has feeling for me but she won’t able to express it. I don’t know what to do, here I’m totally confused about my feelings and I started thinking of Palak’s feeling.
GOD, this is so messed up. I should not think about her maybe it’s just a infatuation or a mere attraction. I should sleep now as its enough messing up with my mind. I was going to bed when I hears my phone beeps indicating that there is a notification. I goes to take my phone which is on desk. I picks up and sees that the notification is from i********: so thought to check it and when I saw what it was, I’m on cloud nine. It says that Palak Mehta starts following you. I think, now I can sleep peacefully and lay down on my bed and soon sleep took over me.

THIRD PERSON POV:
In Mehta Mansion
Palak reaches her home and enters inside. She sees very different scene Dadi and Smita are sitting on sofa and they are doing something on chart papers, same goes for Shekhar, Veer and Kavya are also writing on chart paper but sitting on floor There are so many chart papers and props are speared on table and floor.
She sits besides Smita.
“What is happening guys?” Palak asks in confusion.
“We are arranging an educational fair for children of our orphanage.” Dadi said.
“We all are just making charts for it.” Smita said.
“Ohh that’s great let me help you all.” Palak said.
“Princess you go and freshen up then we all will have dinner and after that we can continue this.” Shekhar said.
Nodding positively, she goes to her room and here everyone takes a break and moves towards dinning table. Smita and Kavya are setting the table. After sometime Palak also comes and sits besides Shekhar.
They are having their dinner when Palak said, “ When fair will going to start?”
“It’s on Sunday and only the doners are invited.” Veer said.
“Ok, dadi if you need any kind of help just inform me.” Palak said
“Why you have to work always, let them work this time. You just enjoy” Dadi said
“As you say dadi.” Palak said and giggles.
Finishing the dinner with little discussion about the fair, they all are sitting in living room and resume making charts. After sometime, seeing Palak working Dadi said, “ You go and take rest, we’ll do this.”
“But dadi I want to help you all.” Palak said
“OK help us but not now. Make sure to arrange the projector and screen for a video which is to be seen on that day.” Dadi said
“OK fine dadi good night everyone.” Saying this she left the living room and goes to her room.
She reaches in her room and sits on her bed.
END OF THIRD PERSON’S POV
PALAK’S POV:
The day was insane. First that truck driver messed with me. Then what happened to Ritwik that he wanted to became my friend. It’s not that I have any problem being his friend but I wasn’t expecting this. First I thought that he is rude and arrogant as people says but he is so different from it. He behaves so calmly and nicely with me. I think that saying this right that “Don‘t judge a book by its cover.” Today he was not rude and arrogant businessmen, he was just a good friend. But why I am thinking so much about him? I should stop thinking now otherwise it will lend me in problems. I thought to sleep but before that something strikes me. That I haven’t follow back Ritwik on i********:. Should I follow back him or not? I think I should follow him back because he had taken the initiative so I should also take a step. So I opens my i********: account followed him back and putting my phone on side table I slept.
