Finding Kathy

Thalia POV:

To hear Ares say that he had waited so long for me and already loved me was enough for my heart to heal for the first time in a long time. I never knew that there was someone out there who could love me for who I was, a broken soul and heart. I knew from that very moment that I was going to love this man for the rest of my life. After hearing him say those things, I couldn't help but start kissing him. He froze for a moment because he wasn't expecting me to kiss him at that moment. He soon softened and started kissing me back. He pulled me into his arms and had me straddling him. I threaded my fingers through his black/blue hair and started gently tugging on it, trying to pull him more towards me. He softly growled at me, showing me that he was enjoying me doing that. I finally pulled back to get some air and I looked at him. This man was a god compared to Percy. I mean he was literally named after the Greek God of War, but his body and personality are what I am talking about. He was strong by all means, I mean the man had an 8 pack under that tight shirt that he was wearing, but he held me like I was the most precious thing in the world.

"Ares, do you think we could try to find Ms. Kathy so I can thank her for saving me. Now that I think of it, the way that she growled at Peter, she must be a werewolf. I remember when she growled and, for a little bit when she was holding me, her eyes went from a really light blue to an almost dark gray blue. Also, her voice when she was telling me that what happened was not my fault sounded different, like she was a different person." Ares looked at me sharply and stood up with me still in his arms.

"Do you remember her full name little one? Maybe we can find out which pack she is in." I nodded and looked at his determined face.

"Yes, her name was Kathy Bellington. She was around 40 something the last time I saw her. Oh please, my god, please tell me you can help me find her."

Ares stopped short after I said that and looked at me with a surprised look on his face. "My god? Are you talking about me little one? I have to say that I like it."

Nodding and blushing, I peeked at him from under my bangs, "You are named after the Greek God of War and I felt that that was the best thing to call you. Do you really like it? I can change it if need be..." He stopped me with his lips on mine. "Don't change it, Little One. I like being your God. However, instead of you worshiping me, I promise to always worship you. Now let's go talk to your dad and brother and see if we can find Ms.Kathy so I can thank her for loving my goddess."

Ares POV:

My little one's name for me is really doing things for me. Knowing that she knows that I was named after the God of War makes me really proud that she is intelligent. However, right now wasn't the time to let her feel what she was doing to me. I linked John and Leo and asked them to meet us in the office. I walked us up to the office and gently placed her onto the couch. Not long after, John and Leo came in, followed by Freya. I chuckled when I saw that pup go right up to Thalia and start wiggling around. She was making noise at my mate like she was trying to sass her and was jumping up and down while staring at her. Thalia chuckled as well and started messing with her.

"Wanna go outside pretty girl? You don't want that, do you? Oh, no you don't! Ok ok kiddo let's go. Mama needs a run too. Leo wanna come with us? I still don't know that pack that well and I kinda wanna run in wolf form with Freya and I would really love some time with my big brother."

Leo looks at me and his dad as if asking for permission to go hang out with his sister. I chuckled cause I knew how long Leo has been hoping to have a little sister. I nodded at him because I knew he would keep her safe.

"Go on kids. Go have fun. Leo keep her safe and close by. I am pretty sure our future king would like his queen to come back in one piece," John said, chuckling at his children's antics. Thalia squealed and dashed up to give her dad a hug. I motioned to her and took her into my arms.

"You go have fun with your brother and your pup. Your dad and I will look into finding Kathy. When we find her, we will link Leo so you guys can come back here. OK. Stay safe and stay with your brother." I kissed her forehead softly and then gently pushed her to Leo. They run out of the room with the dog on their heels and head out. I turned to look at John and got ready to get started.

John POV:

Watching the way that Ares cared for Thalia warms my heart so much. Sending her and Leo out for a run seemed like the best way to get work done, so, of course, I told them to go. I, too, wanted to find the woman who protected my daughter like her own and thank her myself. I turned to Ares and asked, "So did you get the full name of this, Kathy? I, too, want to find her and thank her for what she did."

Ares nodded and started saying, "Yes her name is Kathy Bellington and Thalia thinks that she is a wolf..."

"Wait Kathy Bellington? Did she say that she was a short woman, with light blue eyes and a calming appearance? She may be closer than we thought," I exclaimed, jumping out of my seat.

Ares looked up at me sharply, "You mean she lives here in this pack? Oh John, please tell me that is the case."

I nodded and started linking Kathy right away. She worked in the daycare, and they just let out for the day.

"Kathy, can you please come to the office? There is something that Prince Ares and I would like to talk to you about."

"Of course, Alpha. On my way right now."

I looked over at Ares and nodded at him. "She is on her way now.

Just then there was a knock on the door and standing there was Kathy. She entered and bowed to both me and Ares before she sat it the chair that I pulled up for her.

"Yes Alpha? What can I do for you and the prince?"

"Kathy, a few years ago you came into this pack saying that you had to reject your mate because he did something horrible. I must ask you if it was something that he did to my new daughter, Thalia?" Hearing that name, Kathy took a sharp breath and looked at me with teary eyes.

"Alpha, you mean Thalia is here? Oh! My beautiful girl, is she ok? The answer is yes Alpha. He and his sons raped her one night and I rejected him because of it." I walked up to Kathy and hugged her.

"Thank you so much for protecting my daughter. Because of what you did, she was able to come home to us finally. She is out on a run with her brother, but we would like to have you over for dinner tonight because she wants to see you again."

"I would love to, Alpha. I would love to see her again myself. Oh, I thank the Goddess for keeping her safe until she was able to come home again." I nodded and then told her to go get ready. I can't wait to see my little girl's reaction to find that her savior was in the same pack.
