Run With Brother

Leo POV:

I finally got to go on a run with my little sister! I tried as hard as I could to hide my excitement, but I am happy to report that I failed miserably. When both dad and Ares gave us their blessing to go on the run, Lia grabbed my hand and pulled me out into the woods. Freya was following closely and was such a cutie while doing it. I swear both Lia and Freya feed off of each other when they start getting excited. Lia made sure to put a harness on Freya before we went outside.

"Leo do me a favor and hold onto Freya's harness while I shift. I want her to watch me shift first so she will know that it is me and then, when Sapphire lays down, gently lead Freya up so that they can get to know each other," Lia said as she showed me how she wanted me to hold the pup. I grabbed where she showed me and hunkered down next to the pup. Lia walked away a few paces and started undressing. I covered my eyes so she could have some privacy, knowing that she was still new to shifting. Not to mention, I really didn't want to see my little sister's naked body. After the sound of breaking bones stopped, I uncovered my eyes and looked at Sapphire. I am still in awe of the wolf that my sister was gifted with. I have to admit that Sapphire shows everything that is beautiful about Lia. Her coat was not long, but it wasn't short either, and it was a beautiful shade of midnight blue. On her rump there was a hot pink crescent moon with a heart inside the middle of it. Her eyes were hot pink as well and when she looked at you, it was almost as if she was looking into your heart to see if she could trust you with hers.

Sapphire whined a low whine and laid down on the ground while looking at Freya. Freya stood there next to me and looked intently at the wolf in front of her as if she was trying to figure out how her mother had turned from a human into this huge dog friend. Her tail started wagging, and she started pulling me towards Sapphire. I looked at Sapphire, and she nodded for me to let the pup go, so I released my hold on her. Freya dashed up to Sapphire and started doing the typical dog thing of sniffing the new animal in front of her. Once she realized that it was her mom in a new form, she started prancing around her mom, trying to get her to start playing with her. Sapphire indulged the pup and started playing with her as if she was also a dog.

In my head I hear Lia start laughing at the antics of her pup and her wolf.

"I have to say I am really happy that Sapphire has claimed Freya as her own pup. I guess I really am her Alpha dog. LOL" Lia linked me through her laughter. "Come on big brother shift so the three of us can go on a run. I want to have some fun before dinner. Heck, I'll race you to the lake!"

"No promises that I will let you beat me there little sis. Hang on, I'll go shift now" I said before going behind a large rock and shifting into Cinder.

Thalia POV:

When I asked Sapphire if she was ready to shift, so my dog could meet her, she started jumping around inside my head.

"Heck yes, I am ready to meet my pup. Freya is my first pup and if anyone says differently I will tear their throats out," Sapphire said to me as she started taking over and shifted. After she shifted, she looked at Freya and whined at her to call her to us. Freya, being the smart dog that she is, got the hint and pulled Leo over to us. Sapphire nodded at Leo to tell him to let her go so she could come to us. After sniffing us, she realized that Sapphire was just another version of me and was more than happy to start playing with her. As Sapphire and Freya played, I linked Leo and asked him to shift so we could take a run to the lake. He went behind a large rock and shifted. When Cinder walked out, Sapphire, Freya and I all took a moment to really look at him. My brother's wolf was gorgeous. Cinder stood just an inch lower than Sapphire and he had beautiful smoky gray fur. When he was in human form, his eyes were hazel brown, but when in wolf form his eyes were a dark gray that almost looked like a storm cloud. Sapphire walked up to her brother and started nuzzling his face with hers. We both took off running and started racing towards the lake and boy was that was so much fun. Freya kept up with us pretty well and that made me and Sapphire so proud of her.

I won the race to the lake. Leo was being a little whiny butt about it, but I know he was really proud of me because I was faster than he was. We all walked up to the lake and drank some water before we lay there for a little bit to get a breather.

"Hey sis, we should head back to the house. Dad is telling me that we are having company for dinner, and he wants us to get home soon. Also Ares won't stop asking me when I am bringing his mate back home to him," Leo linked me after a few moments. "Hey, how do you feel about having Ares as your mate? Is he treating you right?"

Leo POV:

"Honestly, I never thought I would find my mate this fast. Yes Leo, he treats me like I am the most precious thing to him. I...I...I think I am falling in love with him. That isn't crazy, is it?" Lia responds to me. "No, that isn't. I know for a fact that he has already fallen in love with you," I responded to her while getting up and nudging her and her pup to get up.

"Now come on before your mate comes to get you. Let's head home, you two" I started taking off to the pack house.

We make it home in no time. Ares is outside waiting for us and I swear if wolves could blush, Lia would be bright red. Freya ran straight up to Ares and started jumping all over him trying to kiss every part that she could reach. I went behind the rock from earlier and shifted back. When I walked out I saw that Lia was already back in human form and was kissing her mate. I walked up to them chuckling, "I never thought that I would be so happy to see my best friend kissing my sister. You are so lucky that I love both of you or I would seriously think of hurling right now. Now come on you two love birds let's head in. Dad says that our guest is here and they really want to see you sis." With that we all walked into the house and headed for the family dining room. I could smell the scent of Ms.Kathy, the daycare lady in there and was wondering what she was doing in our family's dining room. All of the sudden I was pushed aside by Lia and finally knew why Kathy was here.

"MS.KATHY! Is that really you?! OMG it is you!" Lia screamed as she ran to Kathy. Kathy opened her arms to Lia and held her tightly to her as my little sister started crying again in her arms.

"Oh little one! It really is you. Thank the Goddess you are safe and where you are supposed to be. I have missed you my little craft angel." Kathy cooed as she held my sister. This was the woman who saved my sister all those years ago.
