New Friend And Family

Thalia's POV:

'My head is killing me' was the first thing I could think of. I had found myself in darkness for a while and was wondering if I was actually dead. I remember waking up to find a man holding me and telling me that he was a werewolf. He had asked me if he could change me and I had given him permission just before I blacked out again. Johnathan was his name. That is right. I wonder if it actually worked. As I was thinking about the fact that werewolves were real, I noticed that my surroundings had started to change. Instead of being in a pitch black place, I found myself in one of the most beautiful fields of lilies of the valley. I looked down and saw that I was wearing the most beautiful white lace dress that went all the way down to my ankles. I pulled my hair forwards and saw that it was still hot pink with blue tips. My skin was flawless and there wasn't a single scare to show all that I had been through in my life. After I stopped looking at myself, I started to take in my surroundings and saw that there was a large oak tree with a swing on it. I made my way over to the swing and sat on it, wondering what I did in my life to deserve such a beautiful afterlife.

"You are not dead, darling. You are only here so that I can gift you your wolf, and so I can explain why I chose to let you become a wolf." A soft voice called out from behind me. I turned my head to look at who it was that was talking to me. Standing behind me was a beautiful woman in a dress just like mine. Her soft blue eyes looked at me with a sad look that let me know exactly who she was to me now. She softly walked behind me and started to push on the swing and as she did so, I felt like I had when I was a child and smiled widely. As she pushed me, she started talking, "When I saw that Alpha Johnathan had decided to change you into a wolf, I knew that I had found the perfect host for a very special wolf. You see, Thalia, you were supposed to be a wolf from the very beginning, but my sister fate decided to play a cruel prank. She took you from me and gave you a human life so that you could suffer so much pain. I did not know what to do, so I left you be. However, when the alpha decided to save you, fate let go of you and gave you back to me. So now I will be giving you the wolf that you were supposed to have received when you were younger. She will guide you, and she will be your friend until the day the 2 of you return to me." She stopped the swing and looked at me.

"Since you love to have pink hair so much, I have blessed you with it naturally and your wolf will be the other color that you love so much. Sapphire, come and meet your human." She turned to the right of us and so did I. Standing next to the tree was a sapphire blue wolf with hot pink markings on her rump. The markings almost look just like blood stains with how they were shaped. I slipped off of the swing and walked up to her. She was easily 7 feet tall but when she saw that I was walking towards her, she lowered herself and laid on the ground, so I could reach her. As I started to pet her, I noticed that she was so soft, and I leaned into her and hugged her.

"Hello Sapphire I am Thalia. I am so happy that we are going to be best friends. I love you so much already." I said and she started to purr. 'Hello little human. I am also so happy to finally have you in my life. You are right that we are going to be the best of friends. Even after we meet our mate, I will always be there for you.' I stepped back and looked at her with an inquisitive look. "You mean that my husband is not my fated mate? Are you sure of that? I guess that means that I will have to leave him and....and....and" I started to cry at that point. How can someone else love me for all of my brokenness? Looking at the Moon Goddess, I asked the only question that seemed to roll around in my head. "Moon Goddess, will you help me through all of this? I can't take any more pain than I already have." She walked up to me and hugged me tight. "Of course I will, my dear! I have given you a new family who want nothing more than to have their own little girl. Your new older brother is actually sitting next to your bed right now begging you to wake up soon. He feels as if he has waited long enough for a little sister, and now he has found one in you. He has promised both you and me that he will make it his personal mission to protect you and your heart. Would you like to see?" I nodded at her, and she pointed to the hole in the center of the oak tree. When I looked, I saw the young man who had been running to my car after the accident who was begging me not to go to sleep. He was sitting in the chair next to the hospital bed where I was lying with all the different wires on me. I could hear him talking about our new family being so happy that there was a new addition to the family. I saw him grab my hand so gently and kiss it while he promised that he wouldn't let anyone hurt me ever again. I started crying as I heard the words that my new brother was saying. All I had ever wanted was an older sibling who would protect me not harm me. I looked at the Goddess and told her that I wanted my big brother. She smiled and told me to go to Sapphire and meld with her. I could go home then. I did as she said and then started to feel like I was falling. I am coming, Brother.

Leo's POV:

Thalia had been sleeping for 2 weeks since father changed her. Every day, I go and visit her and promise the same thing to both her and the goddess. I will protect her from any further harm if only she would come back to us. Today was no different, as I entered her room and sat in my usual seat. After about 2 hours of sitting with her and talking to her, I stood up to stretch. When I looked down and was debating whether I should leave or stay, I saw her fingers start to twitch. I quickly sat back down and gently grabbed her hand.

"Thalia, sweetie, can you hear me? Come on little sister, open your eyes for me, please." I pleaded with her as I linked our father that I thought she was waking up. She groaned and then started to open her eyes. She looked at me with a small smile on her face. She reached the hand that I wasn't holding to the tube that was in her mouth and gestured to have it out. I nodded and linked the doctor. I refused to leave even when the doctor came in and asked me too. Thalia looked at the male doctor and grabbed my hand harder. Looking at her, I saw that there was fear in her eyes at seeing that her doctor was a male. I tapped her shoulder and she looked at me with teary eyes.

"Sis, do you want only female doctors in here? If so, that is fine. We can do that." She nodded and grabbed my hand with both hands. Looking at the doctor, he nodded and walked out. 2 seconds later, Doctor Alisa walked in and walked up to us.

"Hello, Ms. Thalia. I am Doctor Alisa, and I am here to take the tube out. Do you want your brother to stay or do you want him to stay?" Thalia made a move to pull me closer to her and Alisa nodded.

"OK, he can stay. Are you ready? Take a deep breath and then, on the count of three, I need you to cough as I pull the tube. Leo grab that cup of water for her because she is going to need it." Turning, I grabbed the cup of water with a straw in it and was prepared to help her drink it.

"OK Thalia, deep breath. Good...now 1...2....3" With that Alisa pulled the tube while Thalia coughed. I quickly placed the water straw in front of Thalia's mouth, and she drank it slowly. Pulling back, she thanked me quietly and smiled at me. Suddenly she sat up and looked a little bewildered.

"Thalia, are you OK?" I asked.

"I just heard a voice in my head telling me that you are the best big brother ever." She answered meekly while looking around for the source of the voice. I chuckled softly and turned her face towards me softly. "It sounds like your new wolf is happy that she has got to see her new big brother. That was your wolf, little one. You are fine and you are safe now." I told her as she blushed like she forgot that she was now a wolf.

"Right. Forgot about that. Sorry." she said with a silly smile on her face. We all laughed and then dad came in.

"Thalia, you really are awake! Oh, sweetie, we were worried about you." Dad said as he walked to the other side of her. He took her hand and sat down, and she squeezed his hand.

"I am OK, daddy. I promise. Thank you for saving me." She said to him and I saw dad's eyes start to fill with tears. Wait, she just called dad "daddy". That means....

"Wait little one, do you know who we are to you?" I asked with a huge grin on my face. She giggled and looked at me, "Oh yes big brother I do. I saw the Moon Goddess, and she told me that my new family was waiting for me. She showed me my big brother, who made a promise to both her and me that he would protect me for the rest of my life, and my new mom and dad, who also made the same promise. So yes Leo, my big brother, I know exactly who you all are to me."

The s**t eating grin on my face grew even bigger. "Can I hug you little sister?" I asked, and she nodded and opened her arms to me. I took my new sister into my arms and hugged her and loved every second of it. She giggled and hugged me just as tightly and then reached for dad. She pulled him into the hug with us just as the door opened and mom walked in.

There were tears in Thalia's eyes when she looked at mom. "Mama?" She called out and reached out to mom. Mom started crying and ran over and held her tight. "I got you baby. I got you." Mom said as she held Thalia as she cried on mom's shoulder. We were whole finally
