Beneath The Moon's Embrace

Krix, a beautiful modern city in the human world, was where Emilia took solace from her past. Emilia is a single mother of triplets: Diana, Darren, and Duane, the beautiful gifts that lightened the burden of her heartbreak and betrayal. Her pains are and have always been the motivation for raising her kids alone and pushing on to be a medical director. Years have gone by, and she has successfully melted into the human world, being able to hide her werewolf identity. Her career was at the peak, and she was even about to even count herself lucky again to have found love in her boyfriend, Ken, but as usual, all men do is lie. Little did she know she was due for another shock of her life - a rude awakening. On this faithful afternoon, her shift finished quite early and so she decided to make a stop at her boyfriend's apartment to pick up some of the files she left the previous day she came for a visit before going to pick up her kids from school. And on getting to Ken's place, she was surprised to meet his car in the garage. Knowing Ken, he never misses a day at work, "Ken never misses a day at work or is he sick?", she thought to myself Worriedly, she immediately rushed into his apartment but found it in disarray. Some papers were scattered on the floor of the living room, and some of the antiques he used for decoration were on the floor. It all looked as if there had been a fight in his apartment. She stood still, curiously observing to know what happened. "Ken! Are you there?" she called out in a low voice. Suddenly, she heard giggling from the bedroom which suddenly became a high-pitched moan. She looked towards the path that leads to the bedroom and saw Ken's jacket on the floor and a lady's dress not too far away. Her heart skipped, and a cold sensation ran down her spine. "It's impossible! Ken can't be cheating on me," she thought to herself. Anxious and curious, she walked slowly to the bedroom. As she walked slowly, she saw a lady's pair of shoes and underwear flung along the path to the bedroom. She opened the door gently and peered in to see what was happening; the horrifying sight would forever be engraved in her memory. Ken was passionately riding on top of another lady, who happened to be one of the nurses she works with. It turns out that only Emilia had no idea that Ken was seeing one of the nurses in the hospital. Despite her career exploits, She has been the subject of pity from her junior colleagues. They always wondered how she managed to keep herself in check with three babies and a cheating partner. In shock, Emilia stood there, watching as he held her, kissing every part of her body as he passionately and slowly penetrated her while she moaned at the top of her voice. She watched with tears running down her face. Every stroke he took broke her heart. When she couldn't take it anymore, she slammed the door. "Ken!" She screamed in a loud voice. Tears were still dripping from her eyes, and it felt like she was reliving it all again. She rushed out of his apartment, not waiting for Ken to defend himself. She called her children’s school teacher to help her bring them home. She wouldn't risk her children’s lives over a cheating boyfriend. Getting herself home was hard; tears from her eyes obstruct her view as she drives, but somehow she managed without getting the car crashed in the process. On getting home, she didn't want anyone to notice she was broken. Quickly, she got out of the car, got the mail from the mailbox, and rushed into her apartment before anyone could ask questions. One of her neighbors, with whom she had always exchanged pleasantries whenever she came back from work, wondered what had happened. Emilia got into her apartment, weeping uncontrollably. Life in the city as a single mom was hard; she imagined it would be much easier for her and the kids when she met Ken. She never for once thought she would be heartbroken a second time. Alan broke her heart the first time, and this is when she thought life had given her a second chance with Ken. She was still in tears when she heard a knock on her door. She assumed it was the driver dropping off her kids. She wiped up her tears and put on a smile. She opened her door, and Ken was standing right in front of her. She wasn't surprised, but she was very furious to see him. "It took you long enough," she muttered under her breath. "My kids will be here soon; say what you have to say and get out of my apartment!" She said it harshly. "Emilia, I'm sorry." Ken apologized. "What exactly are you apologizing for? The fact that I caught you or that you cheated? Tell me, Ken!" she yelled at him. "Emilia, you don't need to get mad at me; why are you getting mad at me? Come on, wake up! I'm sorry to say, but I did you a favor by even telling you I loved you!" Ken shouted back at her. "Do you think anyone will want a mother of three?" He asked her in annoyance, "Who knew the kind of bastard you slept with that made the mother of three other bastards, and here you are judging me for doing the same thing you did?" Emilia’s mouth was wide agape; she couldn’t believe the garbage Ken was spilling out of his mouth. She may not have loved him as much as she loved Alan, but she loved and cared for him. She never cheated on him. "So, who was he? The man who pumped you up with babies and left you to fend for them? Is he less of an asshole than I am?" You probably forced yourself on him like the slut you are, giving birth to three bastards for..." Ken didn't get to finish his statement before Emilia gave him a slap that nearly knocked the air out of his nostrils. Emilia was careful not to use her full strength so she wouldn't accidentally break his neck. "Get the hell out of my house, Ken!" Emilia screamed at Ken. "You b***h," Ken spat back at her as he turned towards the door to leave. At the door, Emilia's kids' driver greeted him. Scoffing loudly at them, he walked past them even as the triplets shouted his name. After saying goodbye to the driver, she led her kids in and made them have their baths. She left them for a while to play while she checked the mail she had picked up earlier. There, she found a letter with a stamp. One she never thought she would see again. Opening the letter, they read out the contents out loud. The words were simple and vague; they read: "Hi, Emilia. It's me, Alan. Please come home; I need you."
