Briefing

214 Words
Orion looked at Michael. As much as he was shocked to find him there he found his behaviour with his director a little offensive. Not because he was his director but the director was more like his older brother. He didn't know what kind of history they had but he couldn't help but feel a little offended when He heard Michael snap out at him. Michael was looking at him but Orion wanted to keep his eyes trained in front of him. The men cleared their throats and Orion finally raised his eyes. Michael was no longer looking at him and it made him feel at ease. They looked at each other and then dropped two files on the desk. Neither Michael nor Orion reached out for them because this was an unspoken rule to not touch files until the briefing party did mention them. Orion looked at the file's parameters. It was moderate but he could see a lot of red highlighting in some of the papers that had stuck out from the folder. It hit him that instant and he turned to look at Michael to find his eyes trained on him. He slightly c****d his head and Michael's fraction of a nod confirmed his suspicion. They were Police Records. Original Records.
