Michael was staring at him, and it was evident. The two men had noticed Michael's urge to grab the person next to him and run away. Michael also wanted to scream that why was he set up in such a horrible way? Orion looked at Michael. His eyes were the same honey coloured but somehow they weren't the eyes Michael knew and remembered. They were distant, alert and a second passed but they never turned to the ones Michael had gazed into before. When he had the pleasure of seeing them swirling an earthly brown with desire and want. Michael shifted his glare to the person who did know Orion very well.
He had a death glare on his face, but he didn't want to do anything about it. The man was grinning at Michael like he had won a lottery. He placed a hand on his seemingly partner's shoulder and they both nodded at them and walked out. Leaving the man placed a hand on Michael's shoulder and gave it a tight squeeze. Michael had a pure white death grip on the chair's handles, otherwise he would've turned into the shark from Deep Blue sea and take a hand for lunch.
They were now left alone.
Michael stood up and kicked the chair next to the door and wedged it under the door knob. Orion looked at him and then the door. He exhaled shakily. Orion stood up and moved closer to Michael. Michael stood motionless and awaited Orion's next action. Orion came closer to Michael, hid hands found their way and he gripped Michael's collar. His eyes were ablaze with a million different emotions. Michael pushed Orion back until he hit the table. Michael held Orion's neck and pushed him down till he his back lay completely flat. Michael was over Orion in an instant. Peering into his eyes, searching his soul for a speck of the same emotion he was feeling. He wanted him to vocalise it. He wanted to know if Orion felt the same pull when he laid eyes on him. He wanted each and every response from him, wether or not in those instances when they were close, he felt the same like Michael did. Michael demanded answers. His lips hovered over Orion's. Their breaths mingled, there was nothing but silence between them. "Princess" Michael whispered. His head dipped low and their lips brushed.
Michael's tongue poked out and trailed the contours of Orion's. His heart was hammering against his chest. There was a knock on the door again. Neither Michael nor Orion bothered to reply. This was it. Michael's conscience knew that there was no going back. He was preparing himself for the worst kind of heartbreak ever but he couldn't care less. Orion's fingers trailed up his jaw and then into his hairs where his fingers entangled themselves and Michael felt a blissful tug at his roots. The intensity made him sigh out loud. The sigh was replaced with a growl and Michael's thumb dipped into the crevice of Orion's lips and the warmth of his mouth enveloped him in. The tip of Orion's tongue swirled on the pad of Michael's thumb. Michael retracted his thumb and smeared Orion's saliva on the bow of his lips. Coating his philtrum. Michael's tongue crept out and licked the bow of Orion's lips. His lips barely parted and took Orion's lip in their cage. The tug on Michael's hair intensified only making him want more. Michael's hold on Orion's neck tightened as he pulled on his neck to make Orion's head dip low. His lips pressed against Orion's. Slow but demanding. Conquering his territory. Moulding into each other. Michael's hand squeezed on Orion's neck making him gasp, and Michael's tongue dived in. Marking his mouth as his own. Orion let out the most enthralling sound ever. It was symphony to Michael's ears. Their tongues battled for dominance until Orion conceited against the sweet assault. The door was bashed and they were interrupted. Michael shakily replied, “Yes, just a minute.” He looked down at Orion and fell in love with the sight he came across. Orion's eyes were dazed and dark, his face had been washed with the sweetest blush and his lips, they looked perfect, swollen and blood red.
It just made it more difficult for Michael to get over what just happened. They straightened up. Orion looked everywhere but at Michael. Michael noticed it. He went close to him and took Orion's face in his hands and softly brushed their noses against each other. Orion smiled. He still felt horribly nervous. Not only they had kissed, they had kissed in the presence of two directors and two agencies who were always against each other from the start. Michael dusted his clothes and then removed the chair from below the knob. Orion had already sat down. Michael opened the door and then walked back and sat down. The distance between him and Orion was bothering him. After a few moments had passed, Nat and Sanders walked in and then they looked at each other. “So, you haven't killed each other yet. Good.” Sanders said. There was heavy sarcasm in his voice. Michael scoffed. "Mikhael, are you okay?" Nat asked. Michael looked at Nat and nodded. “We just got into an argument.” Michael said, trying hard not to sound raspy. They were definitely doing a s**t job trying to hide the fact that they had been kissing on the same table where Sanders was leaning against now. Michael closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down, he didn't want to be a smartass and taunt Sanders about the same. Orion wouldn't like it anyways.
“Angelo, Nocturne, We have the files and we need to discuss something highly important.”
Michael and Orion nodded in sync. The men took the chairs across from them. “You might be thinking, that what are we doing here and why we haven't killed each other yet?” Michael nodded. He was the person who wanted to know this very much. Not only he had suspected that there was something more between these two men but he had never seen Nat this calm near Sanders. They were too close for anyone's comfort. Orion didn't seem too bothered by what was going on between these two or as Michael felt. Orion looked calm. Michael studied him closely, the guy was anything but calm. The rise and fall of this chest was rather rapid and his ears were a beautiful shade of cherry. His one hand was on his thigh gripping for his life. Michael smiled. He reached out and placed his hand on Orion's thigh. There was no physical reaction from Orion but Michael felt the effect he was causing him. Orion's hand enveloped Michael's and their fingers intertwined.
